sorry, but honestly haven't the skill to even attempt this.

I can see a lot of this happening, the trouble with a theme like this is that even the people who only have basic editing skills can't enter unless they go on new tutorial sites to learn about adding photos and making them look like they fit, or applying effects properly etc.

I'll be trying it later on I think since I'm off work sick.

You only really need basic editing skills to do it; copy/paste, eraser, color-balance (and levels if you need it)

^At least to do a basic job. If you want to something more complex, like my Delorean/TIV that I'm attempting, then you need to be able to use the erase tool a little.

In looking through my stock shots, I can't think of any ideas at all. The track/car combos I have don't seem to fit a tornado..

Oh it was. What was particularly fun was that everything except the text on the plate, the antenna, and the tornado (well obviously) were all done by tools. No donor images. I might try to re-work the dashed lines a bit because the red stands out a lot, but other than that I'm pleased. Lots of fun.

Not going to bother entering this one after all. All of the polls lately have resulted in the shot with the most 'special effects' getting votes which is a very disappointing thing to see.

It appears that the actual photography no longer matters, just how much work you do in Photoshop to make it look 'special'. I'll be sticking to PMC from now.

^That's why I only come out to do these when something fun like this comes up. But you'll see me enter ever single PMC, UE, and most Drift comps.

I'm getting bored of the usual 'car with good reflections on a blurred road' but don't want to start adding OTT effects to make it look fancy, so would rather concentrate on the composition and lighting of the actual photos. 👍

I feel the same way about the redundant "whoever did the same effect better wins" thing going on lately.. motion blurs specifically. Don't get me wrong, it's just redundant and kinda boring to work on the same thing; I haven't been seeing much true creativity lately. And those that are creative don't get rewarded in the polls, which is unfortunate.

We should just bring back the artistic competition too, make that one the 3.0 comp. Let the floodgates open with creativity

I agree that it can get boring doing the same thing over and over. I usually like to mix things up by not doing the same kind of shot all the time. I never blur the whole image anyway, just the road and a lot of times use a combination of PS blur and GT blur. 👍

Mag's gallery is one of the best I've seen lately, he's got a genuinely good eye for photos.

I wish i could go back into photomode with the knowledge of it that I've picked up form here from Mag and Bram. it's a shame i have to use old pictures from when I didn't know any of this stuff.
