is this allowed or not?

2474 is the chicane before the first short tunnel.
2475 is the last turn out of the second short tunnel.

Last corner's cutting it close, but I wouldn't consider either of those "cheating." We'll see what niigaki thinks.

1'19.837 is my best lap so far, but with a mistake on the sweeping left hander coming out of the 2nd tunnel. SIGH. I just can't get a whole clean lap together here.

I say that Tekken 6 online mode is complete trash. I am returning it back to gamestop lol. Oh wait that isn't what you wanted to hear lol. I don't think its cheating either considering that in my 1'23 replay I think I am a little on the edge myself.

1:20.815
I also attached the ghost data so everyone can check if it's a legit lap.
if not, then I have a 1:21.6 somewhere.

this will be my final time for C8.
have a busy weekend ahead.

I've gotta head down to Florida for my sister's wedding, so there's no way I'll have a chance to put together a clean lap.

This'll have to do:

@ Genesisfury, you need to upload your ghost so I can have Cottees review it for me since I can't watch any replays outside the US.

@ Glubags, have fun in FL.

Please note all times have been updated and ghosts have been attached to each of the members who provided them. You guys probably won't see C9's course until tomorrow considering it is Halloween and I will in downtown for the night. Be safe and Happy Halloween!

I'm submitting my best time from the 29th. I only got to try it for about 20 minutes yesterday and not at all today (the weekends are time for my son and I to chill and hang out). Plus, I'm just not so good at doing a controlled drift to really get a quick time. Congratulations to everyone - those are some scorching times!

Happy Candy & Pumpkin Day!

:)

Had trouble keeping clean fast laps with this one many times would be ahead of my ghost by a large margin and then blow it!:ouch:
1'24.637 will have to do it for me

P.S. @ Genesisfury,
I was wrong about you man, and I"m sorry, you have really proven yourself to be a good driver:tup: I feel dumb:dunce:

Sorry for the late update. Went to downtown last night with a bunch of my friends went clubbing. Nonetheless I spent last night at my friends pad, knocked out and I have a horrible hangover. Anywho I am updating the times and will tally the points for C8. I just noticed I forgot to add my time lol. Oh well. C9 track choice will be Suzuka West Course / Forward Good Luck!!

Had an awesome time in Florida. On the drive back into Alabama, my fiancée and I saw a bald eagle in the wild... it was eating some roadkill in the middle of the highway and flew up to a nearby tree just before we passed it... incredible to see one in the wild... very beautiful animal. This was when we were passing through Conecuh National Forest.

Then, about 30 minutes later, I spotted a beast of a different nature... out in the middle of nowhere (Andalusia, AL to be exact) on AL-55 North, we passed a McLaren SLR headed southbound, presumably to Florida. First time I've seen an SLR in person... my GOD it was gorgeous.

Very fun time.

So. C9. Guess I'll start. 1'24.478 so far. I'm not sure if I'll be able to break into the 1'23s, but I'll keep trying. 👍

@ niigaki
my lap record was made on Oct.31. you can find in my screenshot.
but it seems missed post on time. :nervous:
if the record still can be recognized?

Even though saying this would make me go down from my current placing for the last round, I think that late submissions could be accepted. Like I almost missed the cut off too. The late submission should also attract penalty points, maybe 1 point or so.

I don't want to try changing the terms of our TA challenge. but really happy if the record can be recognized.
because I don't want miss posting in any challenge.

anyway ,I'm really very hard to try to conquer the beast in quick tune.almost done a best setting for me. but still had a wide gap with you .:yuck:

Sorry kiddallen, I can't add your time because it was past the due date and time. Or I would add my time which was done the first day, just got lazy. Sorry again :(

edit.

I also think that having 2 days to post a time to be counted is fair enough. I'll consider late submissions possibly in season 2, but as for now we are more then halfway done with Season 1 and I don't want to make any more changes to the rules.

C9 :) currently stuck at 1'24.700 with tuned settings. Trying to beat you Glubags hahah

Hahah, I'll be putting in some laps later tonight to see if that 1'23 is attainable for me.

I have the most difficulty with judging the braking point for what would normally be the last chicane after 130R... very difficult as the distance markers are far to the side of the track, so I need to find something else to use as a reliable braking point.

I didn't like the spoon corner for a while because I was testing out different ways to attack it but now I figured it out. It's just a matter of shaving another .700 of my time to break 1'23's and be done.

I've always loved spoon and found I could brake a good bit later than normal with this extremely light car. Getting on the throttle without beginning to slide through the last half is a bit tricky, but I found a good way to counter that. If I can make it past Degner without any trouble, I pretty much breathe a sigh of relief, since I know the last half of the lap will be cake.

Wow you actually brake late on the first portion of the spoon turn? interesting because I brake where it shows and it still seems like its too late even then.

Well, I found that elusive braking point, improved my line through 130R and Degner, and found the fastest line for me through the hairpin. Just put it all together to get well into the 1'23s.

I played it pretty safe in spoon so as not to throw the lap away at the last moment, so there's still time to be shaved.

haha nice, don't worry I know Yavy or Genesis will find someway to beat you again by 1-2 seconds. so random.
