Cabel Club had a half hour stage in Bio Bío today. It was a lot of fun tackling all those hairpins with a smashed hood obscuring the road ahead. :indiff:

Then it was time for the GTP League. Did I mention how much I hate ****ing Kenya?

BTW, prepare for the 1st weekly challenge this monday, it will be snowy Sardegna with the S2000 cars :sly:

As for the GTP club...........WHY KENYANS CONTINUE TO DO HIDE AND SEEK (and give penalties) WHEN THEY SHOULDN'T ? :mad:

Still better than I did on both:

losing all body panels in Chile ✅
flying far away of the track just before square right in Kenya collecting 30s reset penalty ✅

Winter Croatia was pretty interesting. The Escort was a blast up through the hairpins. Shame the grip loss on snow isn’t that noticeable.

Trust me, it was noticeable for me in Hillman Avenger gaining a total of 2mins reset penalties 🤣

Yup, the combination of rear wheel drive, wintry roads and a veritable ple-THOR-a of sharp turns resulted in my ending up with less rhythm than an Irish Catholic with seven kids. So I'm glad that's over.

Also a bit too gung ho on my end, ending up going straight on at not one but two hairpins! Not including half a dozen moments coming out of the hairpins...

I don't care what Mark Fischer says about them being useless. If I don't listen to the co-driver I'm up the creek without a paddle.

Wow, it was downhill all the way in today's wet 'n' slippery Río Claro stage. I definitely needed outside help on the tuning so my M3 driving didn't follow suit.

Hope your brakes are working, everybody.

They are tricky in this game for sure. I’ve been trying to find “comfort blankets” in the RWD classes. H3 it’s the Escort (with a tiny bit of tuning), H2 is the Ascona and Group B RWD it’s the Manta.

You know what's the real problem ?

When playing normally with any other cars I play with 1 TCR and 1 CSM; when I use RWD cars I put all max, because I cannot trust these cars..............and even with all that they STILL try to kill me; the snap oversteer is horrible :odd:

BTW, I was doing ok until the last segment when I hit a rock, got a puncture and spin; spinning this type of car means death sentence because you can't do what I call the 360 trick, if you know what I mean :indiff:

Is there a penalty bug on this stage (Rio Claro)?

On the leaderboard at the it showed that I had a 5s penalty, but I didn't see a notification during the run and after scrubbing through it on racenet I can't find where I was added 5s. It was a clean run and I didn't go off or cut any corners either. Seems like it shows a 5s penalty but it wasn't added to my time. After seeing that 5/8 of us got a 5s penalty I'm wondering if anyone had this issue.

I have no idea where I picked up a penalty. I don't remember receiving a notification during the stage.

Oh, wait, I didn't get a penalty, I was just that slow when driving. Must've been another stage.

Probably, but mine was caused by manual reset after spinning a second time because of the flat tire already mentioned in my previous post :ouch:

I got a penalty and don't know why. I didn't cut or go off anywhere.

I was probably a tad fortunate on that run, currently running the Official Historic club (also at Estonia) and that hasn't been going anywhere near as smoothly. 😬

Now that the damage/tire bug is fixed (has anyone actually tested this yet to make sure?), who is ready for a proper season of GTP WRC League?

WRC2 class, 30' rallies, one per week, normal damage, WRC points system with power stage bonus points.

What do you guys think of being a good season length? I am thinking 4-6 rallies per season.

Let me know if you all are ready to go.

I also want to see if anyone knows the following people:

Brightoon1961 is my dad, he just wanted to be part of clubs I’m involved with.

I updated the OP with the entry list. It is comprised of people who have run rallies lately along with people who reacted to the polls. If you are not on the entry list be sure to reply here so I can add you. I will kick out anyone not on the entry list before the season starts.
