Ahh I’m suffering from flu or something but I’d like to try the nova out even though it’s likely not that competitive.

I’ll maybe try later.

I thought I picked the wrong tires as most of the stage is dry tarmac, but I did a quick test run afterwards on the Soft tires and it seems they aren't that much faster than Winter tires overall. Maybe if you have great car control and minimize the time lost on the icy section they might be worth it. Since you can't change tires during the shakedown it's a bit of a gamble.

Not sure if the Fulvia is faster than the Nova, depends if the 12 horsepower difference is enough to offset the 15 year older chassis.

Good news everyone. You'll never be last again!

I do still wonder whether I'm playing a different game to everyone else when I'm 16 seconds behind last place...

Nooooooooooo I had done a great almost perfect run up until......... You guessed it the last corner🤬
I mounted the fence and grinded down it so well Tony Hawk would have been impressed. Sadly at the end I became wedged between said fence and a lamp post. 😄 All this 50 yards away from the finish!!!😭

Still, It could have been worse. Atleast I eventually freed the car and finished.

Seems like a similar thing happened to @Cabelmania

Oh noooooo...

Still going...

Stuck...Yes that is the finish 😭

After shifting back and forward in reverse I was lucky to get it free and finish the stage, Considering the position the car was in I'll gladly take 3rd place at the moment.

If anyone wants a laugh, The Racenet replay captures it fairly well (Without my obscene swearing in the background thankfully) 😄

Yep, something like this, but with the direction signs :grumpy:

Loved this stage (in fact I'd recommend giving it a blast in a Rally1 car). For me though what made it particularly special was realising about halfway in that I knew this stage, I've spectated on it when I went to the Monte-Carlo back in 2016!

It was ran in the reverse direction to our league stage, but here's a few spots you might recognise. I was even stood around that strange red and white barrier section for one run. I can't seem to find any photos I took from that section but recall Kris Meeke having a bit of a moment there 😂

The Vauxhall Nova dominates proceedings in the H1 FWD class. @space_wadet takes the first round win ahead of @xX Jojje Xx and @MagpieRacer . Less than 5 seconds separating the podium.

Round 2 takes us to Iberia (Spain) in the H2 FWD category. Enjoy!

It’s funny, for me on that stage, it’s always been the right 4 a little bit before that, I have hit the the road sign on the outside of that corner so many times even my wife has started mocking me for it.

Did that just this morning - direction sign on the outside of right 4...
...keeping in mind that I need to slow down before the last turn...

Yeah, that last corner was not a three considering what passed for a three on most of the rest of the stage.

It’s an off one for sure, I imagine going the other way it probably is a 3 as it opens but definitely not going into it this way.

Dammit, hit a tree frontally near the end, no reset but unfortunately I ended not going under 6 minutes for 2 seconds :guilty: 2nd for now, but of course i know there will be others that will not hit that tree

First time trying the game in over a week. Binned it close to the finish. Spent maybe 15 seconds stubbornly trying to get back to road. Classic :grumpy:

By the way, is it a game mechanic that the previous stage closes when the day ends, or is it just to make it easier for the score keepers?

It's a bit of a shame, as not all of us have "insert reason" to boot up the game every single day.

Yes I have it currently set that each round is a 1 day event. Once the round is over that’s it.

We can certainly explore different time scales, 2 days or whatnot. I know the main season when that starts will be longer per round.

With the patch not addressing any of the issues affecting Clubs, and the next patch coming mid-December, I guess the best thing we can do now is maybe set up some proper informal rallies.

Normal damage (to avoid people doing the exit event magic repair bug), 30' rallies, one per week?

WRC2?

I vote for WRC2 to start, at least until the performance issues are mostly sorted out. The occasional frame drops and stuttering make the Rally1 a bit too stressful for one shot rallies for now. Though I guess it would kinda emulate Tanak's season with the Puma considering the reliability he's had this year.

I was thinking of chucking the soft tyres on for the R1 round, managing to understeer almost clean off the road at the start with winter tyres (In the Mini of all machines) was certainly an eye-opener... quite surprising at how far clear the Nova was for that stage.

Also had to check back here in case I missed a memo about it being a "Bring your Peugeot to work" day, thankfully not!
