Have you tried the other two boost maps? They allow more throttle lift than the default one.
Oh really? I assumed they only adjusted the activation point so it would be even worse, but I'll give it a try. Cheers.

I had to bin it due to an emergency in the nursingroom...🫣
Sad to hear. You may not be able to restart the event but I think you can pause at any time while playing. We Xboxers can even take a chance on using quick resume but with the way the game is right now I don't want to take any chances.

I thought this'd be a nice short stage like the other ones...

It's a really fun stage to drive though and I guess the other drivers' times'll determine whether the C4 or Xsara is the better car for this stage.

Apologies 😆. It is a brilliant stage though, that final sector is FAST.

I see the Xsara and C4 and raise you the Impreza 2001 😁. I’m sure I won’t stay on top for very long but I’ll let the Scooby have its moment.

I deliberately avoided the Imprezas because they were too heavy for me to drive well in DiRT Rally 2.0. Without having had a chance to test drive them all in this game I don't know which one I'd be the fastest in on in WRC.

I haven't driven them enough, but the 2001 certainly feels a bit more nimble than it did in DR2.

If anyone is still unsure about their car choice, I wouldn't recommend the Xsara, in its base tune at least. It's a bit snappy under braking, got caught out a couple times on my test run. The C4 is more stable, and I think faster overall too.

In theory the longer wheelbases of the Subarus should make for a stable platform for the high speed sections but I haven't had the chance to test them out yet. In DR2 they were quite good for Finland, you could confidently carry a lot of speed through fast bends.

Yeah the Xsara definitely bites, but if you can tweak it a bit it’s very quick indeed. I do like the comfort and stability of the Imprezas though 😁. The ‘08 Focus I find very handy as well.

I generally pick whatever car has best cockpit view.
Made a mistake of taking the mini in Kenya and couldn’t see a thing!

Went for the xsara for Finland, think I just added a touch more neg camber on rear and it was fine, not the fastest run but enjoyable all the same.

I dont believe it... I've humped it again. Howard only sent me into an electric box!

He must have caught a wiff of a burger van mid stage

What a graphically unpleasant stage. That snow effect is awful, and the pop-in and visible glare/shadow LODs on every moderately open stretch is really quite distracting when you're trying to see through the white noise to what's ahead.

Cars are nice and the actual stage itself was good, but by the end my brain wanted to crawl out my ear so it didn't have to try and figure out where the road was amongst this mess of white, grey and brown static.

Enjoyed the NZ stage thoroughly, but made some really stupid mistakes (leading to my 5 second penalty for going off the road backwards...and somehow corner cutting ). Definitely had some more time to be found there.

Finland was...interesting. A few minor mistakes here and there but I never felt that confident enough to push like crazy as I couldn't really make out the edges of the road at times!

Puzzling, I’m not sure 🤔. If you’ve done the relevant bits in the in game options I’m not sure what else to check. @PJTierney any ideas?
Thanks, could not find anything ingame but maybe I missed something.
Any suggestions where to check?

If I look at the leaderboard on Racenet.com it says xxXJojjeXxx, but when using the export it says WRC Player.

Perhaps because the settings were changed after the championship started it won’t reset until it’s finished and we do another one?
Perhaps, I did some changes in the EA accounts page for more than 24h ago.
But jumped in today on the last stage with dualsense controller ( first time 😊 ) just to check if it was changed but no luck.

There is an in-game sharing option to try as well. I can't remember exactly where it was at.
Thanks, have to check that.

Solved ☺️
Clubs Data Sharing ( in game ) was set to ”Not Allowed” :embarrassed:

Thanks to all of you for the help.

Fixed the WRC Player problem just after you posted this 😊

Besides the bugs in Clubs, I have more bad news:

Multi-class is not an option. We would have to have two separate Clubs to do it.

There is an in-game sharing option to try as well. I can't remember exactly where it was at.
Yes, it’s called Export Clubs Data consent or something. Dig around, it might be in Options or on the EA button on main menu.

Hey everyone, starting tomorrow at 12pm GMT (just under 14 hours time), is the next GTPlanet daily exhibition series.

This time we will be touring the tarmac locations across all the Front Wheel Drive classes. Starting in Monte Carlo with the H1 class and finishing on Corsica with the mighty F2 kit cars.

Enjoy!
