The KeePer IPS

Raced in Super Taikyu (ST1 Class, equivalent to GT3 Cup, GT-R RC, etc).

I have no other information on it, but it's likely Toyota powered as it appears on Gazoo Racing's website. Anyone else have any info?
Keiichi Tsuchiya test drove one at Fuji. I'm searching for a video.

The cars with the best results in 2015 (Bentley, Nissan and Lamborghini) are now the worst. Nice BOP. :grumpy:
First 20 are spread over less than 2 seconds, so not a huge gap to catch. I guess the R8 and the new SLS are the best on this track, but on others it will hopefully change around a bit.

Remember too there are 4 different levels of BOP to keep the level of interest (and complaining) high all year.;)

SRO’s four-tier variable BoP system make a distinctions between the following types of tracks: High speed lower downforce (Type A), high speed medium downforce (Type B), mid speed higher downforce (Type C)
and low speed medium downforce (Type D).

New rules. http://sportscar365.com/blancpain/new-blancpain-gt-sporting-regulations-confirmed/

Comparing Misano last year / now:

Mercedes: 1.34.458 / 1.33.312 (-1.146)
Audi: 1.33.112 / 1.33.262 (+0.150)
BMW: 1.34.083 / 1.34.639 (+0.556)
Bentley: 1.33.116 / 1.33.771 (+0.655)
Ferrari: 1.32.774 / 1.33.504 (+0.730)
Lamborghini: 1.33.546 / 1.34.512 (+0.966)
Nissan: 1.33.080 / 1.34.831 (+1.751)

I know it's not a perfect comparion, but I think it's not a bad one either.

That was a bit of an odd race. Some good wheel to wheel stuff near the start, but that safety car really messed things up. Kind of feel bad for the Audi guys. That's racing though.

That was an enjoyable race. The Lamborghini would have been in Bentley's badbooks if it had of cost them the victory.

Great to have all the motorsports back in force now. The daddy of them all, WEC, back next week!

Ouch on the Nissan.

A huge grid with strong new teams and new cars, yet Buhk and Vanthoor remain at the front, well clear of the rest of the field at the end of the championship race. Despite many things changing, funny how some things remain the same.

Might have been different had a few incidents not happened early in the race,

Indeed, I'm just pointing out the irony of the result.

It's worth pointing out that Vanthoor was leading Buhk when the pit stop window opened during the qualifying race, before the BMW and Bentley were gifted a pit stop, so it's not hard to see why #1 and #84 fighting for race wins can become a regular occurrence for yet another season.

Same here. Hopefully, that's not too far away.

I got a little excited after seeing the Chevy logo displayed in the Blancpain website after the BoP weekend, though I dont think any images surfaced of it in action, hopefully we see it at Spa,

What? No mention of the Whelens car in the background? Are there no "Said heads" here at the Planet? He and Eric Curran are driving the Whelens Vette. Me likey the blue car too!

Other news. SRO and PWC mingle a bit more.

We already had the Whelen car debuted like a couple weeks ago. :P The Valvoline was a complete surprise for the most part.

Also...PWC being partially purchased by the SRO is a VERY good thing. 👍 :D
