GT Racing - GT1, GT3, Blancpain Endurance Series & National GT SeriesSports Cars

It will probably be shown on the Blancpain site like GT1&3 and BES did last year

If you guys are looking for coverage (albeit not streamed) l'endurance is down there covering it with various reports on qualifying. Might be worth looking at until Blancpain announce some details on coverage!

I think the Qualifying session for the Blancpain Endurance Series has ended and the result has been posted in the website.

Now is the time schedule posted in their website a local time or what?

GT1 and GT3 will in Zolder next week. This week is all about Blancpain Endurance Series in Monza. The race is scheduled to go on Sunday but as I said, I'm unsure whether the time is local or not.

If it's local, the race time should be at around 12:00 GMT+0.

Cheers for the link BTO. What do we think of Rossi? Not much to go on yet, although quite impressive in the pre-race sessions. Screw Ducati, let's get him in a McLaren! :P

He'd be better sticking with the Ferrari, at least they are fairly reliable. #88 stuffed it into the wall behind the safety car, managed to cause some chassis damage. They really should start the race now, the drivers have had enough sighting laps and it isn't getting drier.

Yeah, he has history with Ferrari so I doubt he'd go elsewhere anyway. #88 lost it warming up the tyres, a pity.

Gonna be risky to overtake when the safety car finally goes in. I dare say there will be a lot of safety car periods before the checkered flag comes out.

Some good overtakes taking place round the outside of Parabolica, takes a brave man to find the grip there! McLarens are leaving the track at every opportunity.

The condition there looks very treacherous. A lot of cars struggling and the BMWs aren't doing good at all...

Fantastic race, out of nowhere the Marc VDS BMW driven by Maxime Martin crosses the finish line as the winner of the first round of the Blancpain Endurance Series in Monza. Bad luck for the Audis but at least Ortelli managed to climb into 2nd place followed by the Mercedes which the drivers are unknown by me (sorry drivers!).

The McLarens are struggling really badly today. Most of them are either having technical problems or drivers spinning out because from my observation, the most spinners are the McLarens. Hopefully they are able to sort the problems out before Silverstone.

The biggest loser of all is the Prospeed Porsche, from leading the race to 5th I think at the end. Very enjoyable, can't wait for the next one in Silverstone! 👍

I don't follow the Blancpain Endurance Series but that was a great race, I refreshed the page about 2 and a half hours in and found out that from all the freezing I was 10 minutes behind.

I don't understand how Henrici (Prospeed Porsche driver?) lost the lead that fast, was something wrong with the car? Or was he just a worse driver than the others? Either way I think this is one of the series that I'm going to start watching more often.

No way he's a worse driver, actually he is one of the most experienced driver of the whole grid. The interview with his team mate wasn't that informational at all as all that he said was Martin being faster than them without answering the reporter's question of whether the car has got a problem or not. I'd think that Henerici was just not used to the condition in the Porsche or indeed the Porsche has got a problem. The way he gave away places to the others were kind of a little too easy...
