Oh. That's a long time... That's the thing abut sportscar drivers, they wait forever in between races.

Yeah, maybe the reason is because we'll have some GT races, 24 Hours of Nurburgring and of course, the daddy 24 Hours of Le Mans which some of the drivers in BES may compete in, thus why the long wait before the next race in between.

No way he's a worse driver, actually he is one of the most experienced driver of the whole grid. The interview with his team mate wasn't that informational at all as all that he said was Martin being faster than them without answering the reporter's question of whether the car has got a problem or not. I'd think that Henerici was just not used to the condition in the Porsche or indeed the Porsche has got a problem. The way he gave away places to the others were kind of a little too easy...

Ah OK, I don't really watch much endurance car racing so I don't have much of an idea of who's good and who isn't, hopefully I'll learn who are the better drivers by watching a few more races. I don't like it when drivers avoid the question they're asked, someone wants to know what happened but they end up just answering a completely different question which was quite obvious to anyone who watched the race.

It did look a little like he was uncertain of the Porsche's abilities in the wet, I saw him taking a lot of corners much slower than the others and didn't use much of the track at all. But then the fact he was quite consistent at the slower pace suggests he wasn't getting any more confident in the car so the car may of had a problem.

Spa 24, VLN, Spa 1000..etc

Great Job by Marc VDS Team...

I'm really impressed by the Z4 GT3 managing to hold it's own again the established Porsches and Ferrari's, the Brawny Mercs and the sinister looking R8's.

I'm also impressed by the Z4 too because clearly earlier in the weekend the car was way off the pace of the front running cars and none of them qualified in the top 10. Their initial suggestion was that the car was not quick on the straight and it's very crucial here in Monza obviously.

The wet condition didn't even help them at all and they were losing a lot of time but in the hand of Bas and Maxime, the car went alive and started hustling down the leaders - finally into the victory.

Silverstone may suit the BMW well as shown by the DB Motorsports Z4 in the FIA GT3 last year. I have high hopes for them and the car.

I have to find out something about the drivers as well. I did recognize few names here and there and the car selection was nice too (and the grid full) but having some more knowledge about the drivers would really help to enjoy the races. :)

Yay!!! Can't wait for Zolder this weekend. It is a pretty cool circuit! I enjoy running it on shift 2.

I look for BMW and McLaren to be up front;)

Half of the drivers you probably have never heard of and never will hear of, they are "gentleman racers" wich means they are paying to drive the cars and are not profecional drivers or aspire to be.

That was a very good GT1 race. Finally, BMW Team Vita4One was able to show what they can really do and despite the chase by one of the ALLINKL.COM Mercedes SLS, they managed to hold on to the victory. The changeable weather was really a gamble in the pit as we saw both the WRT Audi made a silly mistake changing to wets in which the track was actually drying up. This left them from being at the front dropped down to 10th and 11th.

A shame for one of the SLS, they were leading and all of a sudden, their pace dropped and then out of turn 4 the BMW and their sister car caught up and passed him. Something must've gone really wrong which I suspect could be an electrical problem.

Happy day for me surely with BMW victorious, still more to come tomorrow.

If Le Mans is the daddy the grandfather is the 24-Hours of Columbus

Dutch supercar series maybe?!? it came on right after the GT1 race. GT1 winner was in the race too.

Oh. I need to watch that series. I heard that you can watch all of the reruns of the races on the Website.

The live feed was great today (both GT1 and GT3) I watched on the link that said German live feed (Ustream)... I started watching GT3 on youtube and thought that the quality was much better on the previous race so I remembered and clicked on that link...
The quality was 1280x768 and the youtube quality was 360

Easy win for the same Ferrari that won yesterday. Same thing as well, Pitted early for slicks and passed the leader who stayed on wets. He almost lapped that same car by the end.

GT1 race starts soon, they are on the warm up lap.

Really good win for Halliday and Parisy, that 911 is fantastic in the wet. Finally a pretty good performance from the MP4-12Cs too, still struggling to warm up tires though.

Also, finally the BMW was able to show what it can really do in certain conditions. Sadly though, the Porsche is just far too quick on the straight and the BMW just couldn't capitalise it.

Happy weekend for me though, great performance from the BMW and of course, a fantastic race from everybody else!

EDIT: Such a disaster for Audi Team WRT. Looked like a really strong contender but a terrible strategy, clumsy driving and no coordination just didn't help...

The way the 911 cruised passed on it's warm slicks was insane, meanwhile the Macca was all over the place when it came out the pits.

I've been catching up on the GT1 over the past week or so, great racing so far. I hope the Hexis guys can get the McLaren to start going as well as it looks, looks like they're going to keep improving though so it should be interesting.
