One other thing, where can I watch the opening round of the Blancpain GT3 race.
Here.

Edit. Valentino Rossi will be taking part in the Monza race next week.
They will be broadcasting it live from their website? Will the states be able to pick it up. That generally what I'm asking.
Last year it was available everywhere, but I don't think we'll find out until the race itself. Can't predict how the SRO will be running it unfortunately - hoping we'll get a news announcement about coverage during the week about it.
That said, I'm impressed wit GT1's coverage this weekend. The quality of the YouTube streaming definitely beats what Dailymotion had to offer. The race is pretty good too.
What do you guys think of Vanthoor passing Jarvis? Was it right, or should Vanthoor have defended Jarvis from the Merc's?
I really get the sense that it was a team order but it actually was a good decision by the team because if Jarvis kept on defending his position to Vanthoor, the flying Mercedeses at the back will catch them and possibly put both of the Audis in danger of losing the victory.
Though ultimately in this scenario leaving Jarvis out front could have held up the stronger R8 of Vanthoor, drawing in the Merc's earlier and perhaps Bassong/Winklehock would have taken Vanthoor and then Jarvis; leaving the Audi's possibly 3rd and 4th.
I'm I'm schoolwish I could watch.
Grr completely forgot about the GT1 race today.. didn't put a reminder on after getting up so early for the GT3... Very happy they're showing these on youtube, better than Dailymotion 👍
The commentary is fairly terrible tbh, especially the co-commentator. All he talks about is the equivalency formula.. He also doesn't seem to realise that tyres can wear out at different rates..
I'm on the same boat. It was pretty terrible. I mean, I'm not sure what has happened to John Watson but he's no longer like he was during his time in A1GP. His commentary has gotten more and more boring and more mistakes made! Also, he always thought he knew everything especially about track drying up in the Qualifying race of GT1.
The other commentator seems to be fine, but still no good. Whenever John got something wrong, he didn't even bother to get things right. Wonder who is he? Jack Nicholls?
I haven't had the chance to watch all the coverage, but have they had a chance to explain the new regulations to the viewer? Interested to see how they put across that GT3 are now GT1.

God I miss the Dailymotion GT1 videos... the new youtube videos have no quality whatsoever...
Youtube only do it in 360 shabby quality. Dailymotion was better.
Really, I found the quality to be pretty good, was the Dailymotion streaming in HD.
