I had the second place in the qualifiers
for the race on 21.10

and now, of course, I can not race because I was and you kicked me out

my connection is solid
thank you so much for getting me nervous
on lost time
on destroying mine steering wheel and ps4
by burning and extinguishing
that I may express myself as God's command, there would be a lot of words on
but you are adulterous, right gentlemen, when you need others in your head

Can I get two races?
no two times ps4 i whell shutdown

All this complaining and multiple-posting about how awful Sony/PD/Kazunori is... and you have a NAT Type 3 connection!

It even tells you on the network connection test screen that you posted this is bad...

Quickest fix:
* Assign static IP address to PS4 in your router
* Assign same static IP address to PS4 in PS4 connection settings
* Find the DMZ feature of your router and put that IP address in

If that doesn't sort it (it should change to NAT Type 2), it's likely an ISP issue.

Read the line at the bottom, google Nat 3 there’s plenty of information online that can help you.

Seems as @kie25 found out hard way how people cheat in FIA races with the ABS bug, it is annoying and it needs to be fixed ASAP PD.

Here is his whole stream, and I posted last 20mins of his stream where he found out how the guy in FIA race did it... He was using ABS glitch to get huge acceleration boost, and he was using same glitch to get his penalty in FIA down to 0 without slowing down the car...

Edit: ...just found out that @Tidgney also had same guy in his FIA race, and that same guy did same ****...

Look at the race qualifier... the guy in 3rd, that was using ABS exploit got 2 seconds penalty and he was like 2/10 of a second from first guys, which means he was driving 2 seconds faster then fastest guys in GT Sport?!?!

That would require him to actually read the information rather than just posting a rant

Thats too bad that these forums dont actually let us name the name of the blatant cheaters. So apparently we can talk about the cheating but we are not allowed to name the cheater, interesting.

Interesting video, the unnamed cheater discussed in the last couple of posts either gets a very untimely disconnect from the lead on the final lap or the powers that be saw him burning off penalty time without slowing and was either disqualified or maybe even banned for his "antics".

Yesterday, I was in a online lobby racing, after the race ended we got stuck on track in the results page. I couldn't quit out of the lobby so I shut of the game entirely and when I returned all of my purchased and gifted cars were gone. After deleting the game and reinstalling I'm still stuck with the same result.

Corrupted gamesave. Contact your local Sony office and they may be able to help with gift car tickets to repopulate your garage, but otherwise there's nothing you can do.

Is there a proper thing to do if you find yourself stuck on a screen like this situation or are you just up a creek once the process starts??? I am assuming that this is only a problem if you have your game on auto save?? I saved all of my game data to a remote hard drive a couple of months ago when I heard this happening a little more often to other people so at worst right now I would only lose about 2 months of progress, I suppose I should probably do a new save.

I have no idea, but I'm almost entirely certain that this:

... will be of no use.

Are you saying the saved data on my remote hard drive will not help me? To test that this would work I had turned off auto save on my PS4 and loaded the game, there was no user profile set up for GTS then when I loaded my saved data off of my remote hard drive I had all of my saved data and my game was the same as when I shut it down a few minutes earlier. i suppose since there has been an update my remotely saved data may no longer be valid but as soon as I save my latest progress again I should be fine.

I'm not an expert on such things
It goes to me automatically, obviously I have to pay somebody to fix it
I do not even know how I've been driving for years and everything was ok
I just want to drive, as before, I run and drive
it looks like I'm too old for such ****
here, just today, it's gone ps4 shut down 4x

Even if I mess with the router, my operator can work with problems
before he could fix a real car than this
thanks for the good will to explain to us unprofessional

Do you know the name of your router?

can you write it
step by step
first come into the .... network or where
I tried and could not find it for static ip adress

You will need to know your router's network address. It looks like Zyxel uses 192.168.1.1, but check your own router.
So GT Sport - like GT6 and GT5, and GT5P - is a bit sensitive to network environments, and a connection that's fine one day (or hour) might be ropey the next. There's an "easy" way to optimise your own network environment and make it as stable and friendly as possible.

Step 1 - Wire it in
A wired connection is innately more stable (and marginally broader and more responsive) than a wireless one.

Step 2 - Static IP address
This is a little more complicated and requires knowing a very small amount about your home network.

In essence, your router (the thing that plugs into the outside world) has a small amount of addresses (called IP addresses) that it assigns to the devices connecting to it. It receives information from the outside world, works out which device it has to go to and sends it there.

Your device also sends information to it, which the router translates to show which device it has come from, and sends it out. This is a function known as "Network Address Translation" (NAT). Now you know what "NAT Type" means - the type of NAT currently used. NAT Type 2 is best and NAT Type 3 is the worst, for really boring reasons. If you have NAT Type 3 you will absolutely need to do the rest of this list.

If left to its own devices (it probably would), the router will assign IP addresses automatically. This means that every time a device is turned on, the router gives it a number. This is usually sequential, but not always, and known as DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol). If you have lots of devices connected at once, this can sometimes cause issues as a device "wants" the IP address another one is using. It's usually only a hiccup, but it can be bad if you're doing 140mph when it hiccups because your kid is checking their phone...

For stability purposes it's better to assign each and every device in your house its own, permanent IP address. First you'll need to find out what IP addresses your router uses. Usually, this will be 192.168.0.[any number from 2-255], with the router itself as 192.168.0.1, but not always*. Best way to check is to look at the router's own IP address, printed on the back of it. That's the address you'd type into your browser to log into your router's control panel. Once you've found out, pick a number from 2-255...

Then, on the PS4 go to:
Settings (second button from the right hand side)
-> Network
-> Set Up Internet Connection
If you've wired it in as above, pick "use a LAN cable". If not, bad you, pick WiFi.
On the next screen pick "Custom", and then "Manual". Now you need to enter the IP address you've chosen, along with some other... kookier information.
For your IP address enter the number you picked. "Subnet Mask" is even more almost always going to be 255.255.255.0. "Default Gateway" is your router's address. The DNS (Domain Name Server; the servers that change the IP addresses of locations into names, like gtplanet.net) settings are up to you; your ISP has its DNS and these will likely be in the router's control panel under DNS. It's easier to use the free DNS at OpenDNS. These are "208.67.220.220" and "208.67.222.222".

As a random example, the screen should now look something like this:
IP Address - 192.168.1.4
Subnet Mask - 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway - 192.168.1.1
Primary DNS - 208.67.220.220
Secondary DNS - 208.67.222.222

On the next screens hit Automatic, Do Not Use and Test. It'll now do a network test. If you have set ANYTHING wrong, it will fail at the "Obtain IP address" or "Internet Connection" stage. Double check your numbers...
That takes care of the console side of things. For the router, you'll need to use your admin password to log in to the router from your computer's web browser. The instructions in the video above should help - if not, PM me some screenshots of your router's control panel pages and I'll try to find what you need:
Lastly, it's best to do exactly the same thing in your router, and it's required for the next step. Routers vary wildly in where to find this function, but you should have your own instruction manual for it... It's likely to be under an advanced settings menu, labelled as IP addresses or network configuration or something similar.

All you need to do is find your console (this can be tricky, as it may be listed by its MAC address; you can find your console's MAC address in its Settings menu somewhere. I forget where. It's a set of six pairs of hexadecimal numbers, from 00-FF, separated by colons), click on that and enter the IP address you picked for it.

If you think this is geeky, I've done it for every device in my house, numbering 25 or so now. And the consoles, laptops, mobiles and computers are separated into dedicated IP blocs, so when we get a new one it's easy to remember what the next number should be. NEEEEEEEEEEEEEERD!

Step 3 - DMZ
So, basically, devices need to send information out through "ports". This is stupendously difficult to explain - you and I might think that a "port" is what you plug a cable into, but it's not. Well, not in this sense - it's a networking thing. Routers have built-in protective "firewalls" that block certain ports under certain conditions. This is great - it helps prevent your computer from being compromised, or sending out information when it has been - but when a console has its ports blocked, you can't game.

Routers also have a place outside of their normal firewall called the DMZ - which, yes, is the Demilitarised Zone. This is a connection where the firewall doesn't exist, so there's no defences. As there's no defences, there's no ports blocked. This is great news for gaming.

Once you've assigned the static IP address to the PS4 both in the console and in the router, you'll want to find your router's DMZ function. Again, this varies wildly, but is often just labelled as "DMZ". It may be under a Firewall menu or similar. Again, consult your manual. You'll need to then assign the console's IP address (or some routers allow you to assign the device, if you can remember its MAC Address, or you gave it a name) to the DMZ.

You can only assign a single device or IP to a DMZ, and your console is the safest thing to put there.

Once you've done all this, the chances are that you won't see any immediate differences in the network test. You might have a slightly lower ping, or a slightly higher bandwidth, but probably won't. But what you will have is the absolute ideal conditions for your console for online gaming, and the only disconnects that will affect you should be when everyone gets booted from a lobby. Or if your internet connection itself falls over, or there's a power cut.

I just got the bug where all my cars got deleted, now, I know there is no fix for it, but, it also removed my Sponsored cars for the FIA events, and it tells me I already have a contract signed, is there a way to still race them?

thank you guys, but I'm prolonging it all after Christmas
I want you guys and a whole team, a happy holiday and a happy Christmas
Merry Christmas

Hello,
For the "ABS Bug" or another bug ?!
It's the fault of PD and not the guy.

I know him well, he doen't know why that makes him!

But he doen't need that to be very fast.

GT sport has become a very complex game to program.
I like this game but for me, I'm just a game, No stress!

Bugs + Improvements

- 3rd person camera resets the settings while theyre not changed. I have to adjust and put back so it applies again...
- Atleast in Alfa 4C gr3 car changing to Cockpit setting dont have any effect.

Improvement

- The driver hands position everywhere are SO WRONG haha.. I dont get it.
- Car shifts for example in Huracan and 458 must be banging and fast but it acts wierd slowish. And ONLY with NO TCS the shift are better, but still not how it should be.
- Put on the Dayight running headlights on cars! Its part of the design and looks so nice. Also on some cars the Blinkers and Brake lights are way to low intensity!

Thanks!

I dont think that is an actual bug, I think it's a corrupted game save, but I could be wrong

I encountered a small pit exit bug with the new Tokyo Expressway South track:

Also quite often after finishing a lobby race, the cursor will be invisible so I have to navigate with the pop-up texts to enter the track and exit back out to make the cursor reappear.

:lol::lol: Still learning to drive? I'm glad you finally figured out how to get out of the garage.

But what if you full apply your brakes? I ran into a glitch on Tokyo South Outer in the Manufacturers race last night. I got a 3 sec penalty because some kind racer decided they needed the right lane more than I did on the long straight after the pits. When I finally got to the penalty area, I mashed my brakes because I knew from practice that sometimes the auto slow for penalty didnt slow you down enough.for the hairpin. I flew through the dang thing at full speed and smashed the wall at the end of the hairpin. Then was awarded another 1.5 second penalty for its failure to let me brake at all. Next lap, rinse repeat. Lap after lap. On lap 6, I just didnt bother to brake or gas...prepared for impact.....same thing, flew through without slowing. 7th, full gas....same thing. 8th, finally slowed me correctly. I dont ABS cheat, so I know it wasnt that. No clue what triggered the glitch. Ruined my race, dropped my SR 8 points and my DR 1500.

I not quite sure where this belongs and I'm sure people have spoke of this before but I will give it a shot. Tokyo East Outer Loop anf

Im not sure what happens in the case of full brake apply. But scrubbing off penalties because of a cheat without losing speed aint right, that defeats the entire purpose of penalties.
