Room Title is only 20 characters. I posted a "Geezers Only" in the race description on the first page of this thread. The only other solution I can think of is for every Geezer to create a GZR_ PSN and only have other Geezers as friends on that PSN.

I won’t be creating a second account. The room host should make the room title GEEZERS ONLY and after that it’s all about respect. If someone doesn’t respect the wishes of the group and enters anyway, they will be asked to leave.

I read the rant on the the tpra site, talk about over the top! Get over it dude.

Wish we had the option to say - "We've read the post" - "Like" doesn't always mean we like what we've read. Itt is too bad WD got miffed, the title of the room said "Geezers",, I feel he should have respected that the room was for us nd even though he's a friend of a Geezer he should have understood. Ohh well, we're sure there were other rooms he could have joined.

He cooled off after he saw the many post in TPRA saying about Friends Only room.. He said that he did not look for the title of the room, he was only looking for friends room, but from now on he will.

What I'd like for non geezers to know is we DO have rooms where we race with any of our friends. Agent is on my friends list as of last week and most on my friends list are not GEEZERS. We race with them all the time. We determined it was best for our Saturday morning race to be OFFICIAL geezers because those are the folks we have the most in common with, as well as all of us know each other and how we drive our cars. They know we are apt to forget to brake at times because we forget where we are on the track and what turn is coming up. When someone punts another geezer off the track there is no bloodshed or cursing. We also run with weak boost which is somewhat uncommon in most rooms so we have competitive last laps. We meant no disrespect to Agent, and I would hope he would consider racing with us any other time but the Saturday morning event. He'll find out what meds we are on and also a thing or two about being a geezer. P Mallard

In order to be able to join the Geezer room on Saturdays you’ll need to have the host on your friends list. Add Pepper_Mallard (make sure to include the underscore) and that should save some grief on Saturday. Room usually opens around 8:30 AM U.S. Eastern time. See you then. :) 👍

Tomorrow I hope to be present at the races and try again to use the small Sony headset. The problem is that, in addition to understanding little of mine, when an engine starts up, I can only hear that. At least I will try to greet you, with some simple speech before setting in motion the car and above all not to mistake the tires, as I did last week :confused:

Me and Drew22 were the "old dudes" who ran endurance races.
You guys sound like a good bunch (blokes for the Brits )
I'm slower than Congress,
but I race clean
that's what the other pedal is for
