Geezers and Friends. The Memorial Day Open will Start at 8:00 am. I’ll open a lobby at 7:30 central so we can chat, paint, etc. It will also give John and myself a chance to put our eyedrops in. First race....Tokyo East Outer Loop in the GR1 McLaren VGT, race soft x 5 laps. Later lads.

BTW: i found the 300.000 reward race. Did this race twice. Ended first the first time: that gave me about 280.000. Ended second in the second race: a meagre 90.000
I dont see the fun of those ovals.

just to change the subject I am writing you a brief description of my morning: I woke up at 3 am for an unexpected but urgent and solid need, I go back to bed and I stay until 7.15. Breakfast with milk, biscuits and pomegranate juice. A quick face wash, pants and shirt and I go to vote. European and Municipal elections, 3 cards to be filled with an x. I make coffee at the bar, buy bread and go home. I empty the washing machine and put out the clothes, empty the dishwasher and put plates and glasses, sweep and change the tablecloth in the kitchen. I correct a written report on Friday. It's 11.14, I'm hungry and I should still do something but I'm tired and go back to bed to wait for 14 pm !! :boggled:

Geezers and Friends. FORD NIGHT. Gr3 GT LM SPEC CAR, Mustang GR3 and 4. Gr3 Road car for those who have it, and for s***s and giggles the F-150 SVT RAPTOR ‘11 N700. Start at Sainte Croix B in the spec car x 5 laps. RM. Boost weak. No tune. Lobby opens 6:30 central.

Sounds like sum fun! That Raptor does very well on the dirt tracks, IMHO much better than the other rrally and dirt cars in that it goes where ya point it where as they just slide, an slide, an slide, and slide! AND it's purty dadgum quick.
 
Guys, this Sunday we will revisit Le Sarthe in the GR1 Jaguar for 8 laps. Reason for the revisit is because I would like us to race the Jag and I cannot come up with another track to do it Justice. I did think of using it at Blue Moon but many cars are good around there. Tuning will be open on the Jag

The other event will be at Blue Moon but in the GR2 AU Toms for around 35 laps.

Some of us don't yet have the Jag, at 1M and because it's a pig in the corners it's unlikely I'll buy it, BUT I just might draw it on the sheel of shame,, if not I'd be very happy to just watch you guys romp that bugger around the LaSarthe track cause it is blinding FAST on the straights.
 
Saturday Geezer Races
8:30 AM ET (Early Bird @ 8:45 - First race @ 9:06)

Cars:
Gr1 - Toyota TS050 or Porsche 919 (Free Choice)
GR3 - SLS AMG GT3 2011
N400 - BMW M4 Coupe 2014 (PS1)
N300 - Jaguar E-Type Coupe 1961

Cars will be set by its original power and weight (individually)
After each race, 5th place decides the combo for next race (car and track) if the racer is in chat, if not I'll move to the next in chat.

Tires:
Gr.1 -> RH
Gr.3 -> RH
N400 -> SS
G300 -> SS

Race will be set by time (10 to 15 min depending on the length of the track)
Grid (Based on last race results, first is first)
Boost = weak
Slipstream = weak
Fuel will have initial set @ 40 liters and consumption @ 10X for all cars
No tire consumption

Early Bird (Classic Race) - Goodwood + E-Type
First Combo - Goodwood + M4

Final race @ Blue Moon (people in lobby decides what to do)

See ya there!

PS1 - For the BMW M4 Tuning will be open(link below). The purists can run it stock.
PS2 - There will be no time for tuning between races, i suggest to do it before race day (like, today) we will try to keep time between races to a minimum.
PS3 - If we have 6 or more in the lobby by 8:45 we will start a Early Bird race to set the grid for the first race
PS4 - Lobby is friends only, if you are a Geezer (+60 yrs) and would like to participate, send a FR to PSN: GT-RaceAce

Tuning will be open on the Jag. I cannot find a setup online, but, more downforce on the front and brakes more to the rear work for me. Gearbox has a bit of lag but will try and sort that tomorrow.

Scott and geezers. The growing season is taking more of my time and makes hard to have time to race. The season will be over in October. I've had great fun racing with you guys and hopefully you'll let come back and race this fall. poco loco.......r
