Sunday Geezers and Friends.

Room opens 08.00 US ET, 13.00 UK. Racing starting an hour later. Early bird races for those who want to before then.

Todays car choices:

GR1 Jaguar XJR-9 88 (Tuning open) If not all have the Jag, we could race the Sauber. Up to you guys.
GR2 Lexus au Tom's RCF 16
GR3 Alfa 4C
GR4 Porsche Cayman Clubsport 16
GRX Karts


To start we will race some 4/5 lap races. First track and car combo, GR3 Alfa at Alsace. 3rd picks next combo.

Around .45 min we move on to the first event.

1st Event.
GR1 Jag at Le Sarthe for 8 Laps. Tuning open. Tyre wear will be set to 30. Open choice of tyres. No boost or fuel usage.


4/5 lap races, as above, for around 45 minutes until 2nd event


2nd Event
GR2 Lexus at Blue Moon, 36 laps. Transmission set to 211 MPH. Tyre wear will be set to 30. Open choice of tyres. No boost or fuel usage.

Geezers and Friends. Gran Turismo night. We have the choice of: Amuse S2000 GT1, Red Bull Jr and Sr., F1500T-A, and for Al the Karts. Start at The Red Bull ring x 5 laps in the Red Bull JR. RM. No tune. Boost weak. Lobby opens at 6:30 central or before. 1st race at 7:00. Be in your cars. Let me win, and you get next choice. Or you can wreck Greg or Al and that will get you next choice. Humor me. Later lads...Bluemoon crash fest to end

Apparently in Europe we cannot sign up for the Beta.

However, you guys across the pond will have been sent voucher codes which will each work for up to 20 people. So I think some of us may need a code to get in a chat room. Maybe we could try this out before the weekend?

i tried yesterday but the chat is still in 8 participants max, i got another ps4 system update but it was not that.

Gr.2 - Raybrig NSX Concept '16
GR.4 - RC F - Lexus
N400 - S-FR Racing Concept 2016 (PS1)
N300 - A110 Premiere Edition 2017 (PS1a)

Cars will be set by its original power and weight (100% X 100%) except for the N400 (135% X 89%) (PS1)
After each race, 4th place decides the combo for next race (car and track) if the racer is in chat, if not I'll move to the next in chat.

Tires:
Gr.2 -> RS
Gr.4 -> RH
N400 -> RSS
N300 -> SS

Race will be set by time (10 to 15 min depending on the length of the track)
Grid (Based on last race results, first is first)
Boost = weak
Slipstream = weak
Fuel will have initial set @ 50 liters and consumption @ 8X for all cars
No tire consumption

Early Bird - DT Gardens (reverse) + N300
First Combo - DT Gardens (Reverse) + N400

Final race @ Blue Moon (people in lobby decides what to do)

PS1 - For the N400 (S-FR) the parameters used in the lobby will be the Praiano Tuning and the car will be used as a N500 (135% X 89%) , link below. (power, weight and tires)
PS1a - For the N300 (A110) Tuning will be open(link below). The purists can run it stock.
PS2 - There will be no time for tuning between races, i suggest to do it before race day (like, today) we will try to keep time between races to a minimum.
PS3 - If we have 6 or more in the lobby by 8:45 we will start a Early Bird race to set the grid for the first race
PS4 - Lobby is friends only, if you are a Geezer (+60 yrs) and would like to participate, send a FR to PSN: GT-RaceAce

To start we will race some quick 3/4/5 lap races. First track and car combo....BMW at Maggiore Centre 2 for 5 laps. 3rd picks next combo.

Around .45 min we move on to the first event.


For the 2 events today we will try qualifying. 10/15 minutes practise, short break then moving on to 15 minutes qualifying. This is going to be a bit of an experiment with 'Host sets grid'. Please stay in your cars once qualifying starts until it ends and I have the numbers. Anyone who joins the room after qualifying or does not have a time on the board will have to start at the rear of grid.

We will have a10 min break between quali and the race. (Practise still open)

1st Event.
GR3 Alfa 4c at Brands Hatch. 18 laps tyre wear on 30. No boost

2nd Event
GRX SF19 Formula at Interlagos for 20 laps. Tyre wear 30. No boost.


Room setup for quick races: RM tyres, BoP off, no fuel or tyre usage. Power and weight 100%. Unsure of boost at the moment. No tuning today

Taking a break, yesterday was fun, but exhausting.
 
Goodmorning Steve, sorry but I am a bit late to understand all these interesting changes. Limited gasoline , open/closed tuning, various tires, make my confused !:D
Today such as tires, tuning closed, 100% P and W, full gasoline, bop ?? :dunce: :bowdown:

I did not make that clear did I! :dunce: Same as usual Cal with the quick races. RM tyres, BoP off, no fuel or tyre usage. Power and weight 100%. No tuning today

Qualifying seemed to work ok.

I am not sure though if it is too much to do quick races and then do the 2 long races. Your thoughts please guys?

Maybe just spend time with practise, quali and race at the 2 events with a break in between. Following that we can have Blue Moon or Karts etc. for our fun/mayhem races?
