hi to all, for the old grandphather calvy it is time to take a little vacation.
Saturday, while Cory wipes her ass with the swiffer and you will get behind the wheel, I will take a bath in the cool waters of the Mediterranean sea, drinking a few beers to your health! :D
I will sweat with you the following Saturday, and then leave again for the mountain!
The 40/42 Celsius of Florence are too many for me.

Saturday Geezer Races
8:30 AM ET (Early Bird @ 8:45 - First race @ 9:06)

Cars:
Gr.X - Mercedes-AMG GT Safety car (Mile exchange of the week)
N600 - Amuse S2000 GTI Turbo (PS1)
N400 - Ferrari GTO 1984 (PS1)
N300 - GR Supra RZ 2019

Cars will be set by its original power and weight
After each race, 4th place decides the combo for next race (car and track) if the racer is in chat, if not I'll move to the next in chat.

Tires:
Gr.X / N400 -> SS
N600 -> RH
N300 -> SM

Race will be set by laps (5 to 8 laps depending on the length of the track)
Grid (Based on last race results, first is first)

Boost = weak
Slipstream = weak

No tire consumption
Fuel will be set at 60 liters and 5x for all cars

Early Bird - Lago Maggiore GP + GrX
First Combo - Tokyo Expressway - South Inner Loop + N300

Final race @ Blue Moon (people in lobby decides what to do)

PS1 - For the N400 / N600 Tuning will be open (link Bellow). The purists can run it stock.
PS2 - There will be no time for tuning between races, i suggest to do it before race day (like, today) we will try to keep time between races to a minimum.
PS3 - If we have 6 or more in the lobby by 8:45 we will start a Early Bird race to set the grid for the first race
PS4 - Lobby is friends only, if you are a Geezer (+60 yrs) and would like to participate, send a FR to PSN: GT-RaceAce

Does anyone else have the new 7.0 beta system? It is the one that tests the 16 player party limit. I updated to it today. It seems as though I won't be able to be in a party that isn't the new beta. P Mallard

It was in my notifications when I logged in to PS4. It replaces version 7 with version 7 beta. Clicked on the message then proceeded with the code that was on the screen. Nothing to type in, everything was done automatically. There was no mention of invites to friends. Doesn't seem to much of a test since I can only talk with others with version 7 beta.
 
Check your messages on the PS4 - I sent out codes. If I missed someone, please contact me I still have a few to give according to the on line messages I have read.
 
I am thinking this is a mistake and if everyone can't run the new Version, our chat sessions will not be the same. I can change back to the regular version so I can continue as we always have. I likely won't do it until tomorrow afternoon.

I've the code but will wait and see what everyone ele is doing, can always follow your instructions in the morning if need be. Thanks Peter
 
Geezers and Friends. Cars that we will use Sunday will be: Zagato, Toyota Sport 800, Subaru WRX Road Car, ShelbyGT 350, Renault Sport Clio, Nissan R92CP, McLaren F1 GTR, Mach 40, and Corvette Gr3. First race: Zagato@ Maggiore. RH. X 5 laps. Boost weak. With this lineup, minimal time between races. Lobby opens at 7:00 am central. First race7:45. Enjoy your weekend...
 
Hi guys...long time no chat.....we have come up with a new endurance (Pro/Am) series which will race every third week. Details are below....come on you guys...I'm 72....if I can do it so can you...;).

For a long time I have waited for the next great, fun, realistic, Endurance series. Well it never showed up, so we did it ourselves. It is the result of a collaboration of drivers of all ability levels to challenge the Alien and please the Gentleman driver. We have picked two very popular car classes, the 2016 GT500s (Group 2)and the GT3 ( Group 3). We have scheduled it to draw from all over the world, Sunday afternoons at 1330 Central US. Right at the end of today's races just when the room shut down, Al joined me in a party I had opened earlier today. He had gone to SETTINGS / SYSTEM UPDATE and version 7.0 beta was there for him to install. It took him about an hour to get it done. Our voice communication was very clear (SKYPE quality). You might want to take a look in that menu to see if the file is there. We don't know if it was enabled when he entered the code or if it is there for anyone. Let us know what you find. I wil check. But i got the no valid code. Maybe Greg can do it, the system did not say it was invalid code when he typed in. Let you know
