Fellas and friends, watching YouTube tonight - as is usual - and I've found a young man you MUST hear. Kodi Lee is austic and blind. You will not believe your ears,, I promise. He will take us to a musical diminsion few have experienced.

good morning to all, even with the sweltering heat of the last week, I managed to think. :boggled:
I believe that Luiz on Saturday should oblige to stop at a lap by he determined.
With the boost, if we stop on the first or second lap, we earn too many seconds after the last place and is easier to win. You could even study different stops!
However mandatory stop not before mid-race or more.

Good call Cal but I am afraid it can't be done.
There are at least two things that make that difficult to do:
1 - We need someone to check if the driver has stopped on that lap or not, who is gona do that?
2 - What is the penalty for not stopping or stopping in the wrong lap? how we gona do that?
The way we are doing, everyone has the option to stop on the second lap or try to go all the way to the end. (equal for all)
I am trying to adjust the fuel consumption so we have a chance to map the fuel and go to the end without a pit stop or make just a splash and go. But, this is not simple as cars have different fuel consumption and I don't have all that time left to test it, I am using the hits and misses theory. Sometimes works, sometimes not.

The idea here is to make people try to do some strategy.

Any other idea, let me know.:cheers:

Maybe really ramp up the fuel consumption and start with a full tank? I do not know how it all works with fuel. I think the trouble with fuel, and tyre wear, is that if we use boost it ****s up the very thing we are trying to do, make use of strategy.

Boost is a given, meaning for Saturday races boost is ON. Always has been, always will be. It's how the Saturday morning Geezer races are run no matter who's hosting - period.

I think we could make a rule that requires the fuel stop to be made no earlier than the end of the second lap. (Cal's suggestion) We may be Geezers, but I think we can do that with no problems. If the rule is broken the driver is disqualified for the race (Duce will be the enforcer of the rule). This does not stop a driver from trying a no fuel run.
An alternative to fuel is tire wear. I always liked adding tire wear to the mix.

Ha Ha Ha, duce, the guy who NEVER hosts a race, the guy who ALWAYS has something to say that's sometimes negative, the guy who hadda open his yap on this subject :banghead:,, will now be the enforcer eh :mischievous: Well one thing's for certain ~ since I'm almost always watching from a good vantage point (:nervous: the back of the pak or outa tha race :nervous:) I suppose I can pin that 5 pointed badge that says "Self-Appointed" :sly: on my chest. 👎👎
I should have kept my yap shut cause as we Southerners say "I don't have a dog in tha hunt" and don't deserve an opinion. I'm not fond of tire wear nor fuel consumption cause I almost always forget about them until it's too late.:dunce:

Sorry fellas for my lack lustre participation Wed eve. :indiff: We hill folk have a saying that I think sorta covers it,, I was a bit off ma' feed :ill: (for those of you who weren't raised on a farm or unfamiliar with the phrase,, when one of our livestock weren't feeling well they'd typically not eat their feed hence the saying). Perhaps inadequate sleep but I'm thinking it was just one a those days when I was just not hitting on all 8 cylinders ~ or maybe I should say 4 or 2 cylinders now that I'm a Geezer eh :dunce:. Anyway, I hope to be back in proper spirits tomorrow morning to enjoy everyone's company, be a welcome participant in the chat lobby and have a fun time with all my Geezer buddys ~ as it should be.
In the overall scheme of things, none of us have a whole lotta time left on this planet so we need NOT WASTE those precious moments we do have by being a drag when we're hang'n out with our friends. See ya's fellers then! Geezers RULE!
