It could be the codes are specific to regions? Did you register for a code? Maybe you have a Brazilian friend who can share a code.​
 
Cory, I would like to know what you typed into your search engine to find this, and why you did it in the first place?
 
I told ya it was some crazy stuff.

Pete, I looked up Mallard ducks. Trying to imagine why one might associate oneself with a duck.

And some wine bottle corkscrew hacks, which autocorrected to quacks. Therefore, corkscrew quacks.

Good morning Guys .Sorry I missed out on racing Sunday,I was determined to figure out the new beta-chat .First I went to Playstation store (redeem codes)I typed in the code in that Pete gave us.(must use capital letters)I got the same invalid message ,but I did see Beta on the screen .Then I went to settings (updates) and found the 7.00 beta update .Took over an hour to download ,PS4 restarted twice .After all that I got on Pete's chat with no problem.I think I shocked Pete when I jumped into his chat :lol: I hope this helps Guys :gtpflag:

Ok, so I get my 'ol, white haired head around what you're saying, you accessed the store via your PS concole? Assuming that's correct but I oft times go to the store via my laptop,, does it make a difference?
 
Saturday Geezer Races
8:30 AM ET (Qualify start @ 9:00 - First race @ 9:06)

Cars:
Gr.2 - Xanavi Nismo GT-R '08
N500 - Road car of the week (Millage Exchange)
N300 - Porsche 911 Turbo (930) '81 (PS1)
N200 - Mazda Roadster (update 1.41)

Cars will be set by its original power and weight
After each race, 4th place decides the combo for next race (car and track) if the racer is in chat, if not I'll move to the next in chat.

Tires:
Gr.2 -> RH
N500 -> RH
N300 -> SS
N200 -> SS

Race will be set by time or laps (5 to 10 laps or 10 to 15 min depending on the length of the track)
Grid set by best lap (6 min depending on the track)

Boost = weak
Slipstream = real

No tire consumption
Race - Fuel will be set at 60 liters and 5x for all cars
Qualify - No Fuel or tire consumption

First Combo - Autopolis + N200

Final race @ Blue Moon (people in lobby decides what to do)

PS1 - For the N300 Tuning will be open (link Bellow). The purists can run it stock.
PS2 - There will be no time for tuning between races, i suggest to do it before race day (like, today) we will try to keep time between races to a minimum.
PS3 - By 9:00 we will start a qualification time to set the grid for the first race
PS4 - Lobby is friends only, if you are a Geezer (+60 yrs) and would like to participate, send a FR to PSN: GT-RaceAce

No, the reason is that the race start automatically after the qualifying with the same settings.
But i don't think this will be a problem, boost has not being present on the practice before race. Let's see.

Agree, prior to this NEW quali being added you hosts had only 2 choices per se', fastest (quickest) start at the front OR the back, now the start will be based on our best lap. We "may" find, holding to the back of the field until the last lap of quali ~ which would be a boosted lap time ~ so the fun would be WHO will get that coveted QUICKEST BOOSTED time? :mischievous:
 
Sunday Geezers and Friends. Road car day. All N500 ROAD CARS. Alfa, Chevy, Citroen, Ford, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Peugeot and Subaru available. Start at Sardegna B X 5 laps. RM. No tune. Boost weak. The Mazda Atenza will be up first. Lobby opens 7 AM Central. First race 7:45. Later

@pmallard Good morning Pete .If you want to uninstall the 7.00 Beta just go to settings /updates and click the other update .It only took 5 minutes to install the old update and it has not affected the performance of my PS4 .Hope this helps Pete.

I was going to do that last week then decided I'd stick around a bit longer with the new version. There was an update on Wednesday night to version 7.21
