If you have a problem with me : PM.

?

If you talk about the picture, I wonder where it comes from.
I thought you were quoting something with the two versions, but then I realized its your theory. It must be good then :) My mistake

I have no problem with you, I just get a chuckle that you still agree with and love absolutely everything PD does. I mean you just agreed with them on something you don't even know is what they're planning.

And does it keep you up at night ?

You have the right to hate as I have the right to love.

:)

@Jordan You have scheduled an interview with Kaz at SEMA Show ? :)

No. He's not scheduling any interviews at SEMA this year. It appears he has not done any interviews in Paris, either, which indicates to me that he (or Sony PR) is scaling back his exposure to the media.
Sneak up to him and give him another GTPlanet T-shirt. Once you have his attention, have a quick chat which turns into a stealth interview. ;)

Good. He should be focusing on getting GT Sport ready to launch. The interviews can come at a later date when we have more info. ;)

You want Jordan to be attacked by Kaz's ninja squad? tsk tsk
Kaz is quite stealth himself, didn't notice he was behind me at GT6 reveal event. Pounced when I was trying to record GT6 footage driving using one hand, recording with other using phone.

I didn't even see Jordan in the pictures at that event so he can be even more stealth. I guess he was in one of these MPVs:

Hopefully there is another GT event in UK where both attend, will try and meet them both and learn from my rookie mistakes. 👍
Somebody will make this as an avatar in 3...2...1...

Glad hes happy.
Changed my avatar picture to one that has me in it.

GT6 Arcade Mode rendered pit stops completely pointless so...

I did not try in aracde mode but I guess since it make sense it is aracde mode not a championship mode 💡

How can you write those two sentences one after the other with a straight face?

I do not see GT7 as Grid Autosport or Pcars. GT7 will be a conventional GT game with lots of content and features. I see GTS as a competition oriented game and they will probably build on this on future as well. So GTS and GT7 are different games and hence it make no sense to compare it with GT5P, Forza5.

Don't write guesses in a matter of fact manner then.

"GTS will definitely have pitstops, variable time of day and weather for race weekend with qualifying"

and

"I'm sure/I think GTS will have pitstops, variable time of day and weather for race weekend with qualifying"

are very different.

I thought it was understood  GT5 and 6 have variable time of day, weather and pitstops. So I can't see how the programmer cannot include that in GTS on PS4. Moreover just like F1 games which have qualifying format the FIA championship will be the same.

I was in one of those vans. I spent a good portion of time in the event tied to my laptop, frantically nursing GTP's server to keep it online under the crush of traffic. :boggled:
You do an awesome job on having the website run so well. 👍

I was reading your live blog at time as I didn't get to see the press conference and it seemed to be working fine when I looked at it. Already played GT6 demo a few hours before it and talked to a PDI developer though which was a bit surreal given the secretiveness of PDI so didn't look at the website often that day so wouldn't fully know how smooth it ran. I assume much better than what NeoGAF manage when they get a lot of traffic.

It's extremely common for game features and content to go missing from one game to the next, especially on a new system. I'm not saying the game won't have those things, there is certainly more chance they will than won't, but until you've seen it, nothing is confirmed in that you can definitively state it will.

Is it just me or has this been a very odd GT announcement?
I guess it came with timing. It was revealed out of the Blue and since it was announced after Course Maker some assumed that it was a new name for GT7 but instead it is a brand new game, which if you think about it, was pretty obvious.

I don't think it was the timing, GT5 and 6s announcements were spectacular, hype filled events with a rather large blowout of info and screenshots. We did not get that this time with GT Sport.

We don't really know why GT6 didn't include the GT5 version of the course maker, shuffle races, top speed runs, various photomode areas, or endurance races. They were all in GT5 which was on the same system, so it's hard to see why they wouldn't include them. But they didn't.

You can assume that they'll do the sensible thing, but you can't really state it as an obvious fact when there's ample evidence of them doing the opposite very recently.

Disappointed the trailer did not have in-game engine sounds, I guess they are still working on having "something of a high quality to show."

GT trailers have dubbed sounds for a long time now. Everyone always wets themselves at how awesome they sound, only to get in game and find that it's nothing like it.

Expecting GT SPORT to be leader in car sounds in the genre when it launches so it better be awesome.

You are confusing design choices with the implementation of features like day/night, weather, pitstops. For a GP racing game which GTS is trying to be it is the most obvious thing. They cannot release GTS without 24hrs nurburgring  At worst I think it may be on selected tracks.

How are course maker, shuffle races, top speed runs not considered features?

The point is this: yes it may seem logical and obvious that those features will make it to the next iteration of GT, but the fact is that PD has a history of not doing the obvious or most logical, and so it makes sense to expect the same pattern of not doing the obvious or most logical for the next GT as well.

They have better course maker in GT6. Things like shuffle races, leveling system etc are more design choices rather than features like day/night, weather, pitstop. :odd:

Course maker wasn't there at the beginning, leaving players over a year and a half without a course maker. Shuffle races are a feature. I never said anything about levelling system. And still, my point remains:

You're confusing logical thought with talking dribble.

Of course they can release GTS without 24hr Nurb. It would be retarded, but they absolutely could.

If Sony have said to them "You must have VR working in game, and it must be absolutely flawless", they may find that it simply does not work with their lighting and weather systems and so they need to pull them.

They can release GTS with one car, one track, no weather, baked lighting, and no pitstops if they wish. It would be suicidal and the worst design choice ever, but they could do it. They are completely capable of making design choices that exclude functional features, as we have already seen from GT5 and GT6.

I feel like this was obvious from the trailer. Also people saying PD are greedy making this and GT7 is laughable. they put out one game every 100 years I think they can get away with one game every 50 years.
