Hi guys, I'm new here, I noticed something that may be unimportant. Has anyone noticed that on the top left of this image it says they're in the paint menu, I might be making a logic jump in saying this has nothing to do with stickers, so perhaps that button on the bottom left is just to save progress.
Wonder if we can pick between metallic , chrome , matte paint, etc , in the livery editor.
Unless Sony and PD are willing to 'approve' and censor, when nessesary, all livery 'submissions', I don't want to have to conduct my online activities behind closed doors. I already don headphones when yall get fowl mouthed. I'd literally have to lock myself in a room if you 'adults' were allowed to plaster teets and arses all over you whips.
FIA? Are you listening? For the few who cain't do without, there's always Microsoft and PC stuff for your taste for fantasy.
I agree that there would have to be an approval process for this to work, but whats the turn around time for this? I wouldn't want to create something that is nothing more than a couple of letters, just to have it sit for hours(days, a week?) before I'm even able to use it. Thats one reason I don't see the import feature as something practical. We would have to know how they implement it.Unless Sony and PD are willing to 'approve' and censor, when nessesary, all livery 'submissions', I don't want to have to conduct my online activities behind closed doors. 28th of July - another beta release date with more features? (speculation)
IMO Livery Editor does have a little "browser" in it, so we can search and put image on car.
28th July is a Friday. Michał Pisarski wrote that he must keep "secrets" to Friday. IMO that will be something related with beta28th july ? Why this date ?
No... 'family' means wife and young ladies who give me hell when it gets ugly. The estrogen is strong in this cribSo, you don't use the "Mute" function in the games?

Agree. He said there is an interview. For me it has nothing to do with the beta. On Friday he will just post few scapes/photomode pictures and probably that's it. "Yup, the day after tomorrow I will be able to post a few photos from photo mode - they are stunning " or somesort of interview they had there.
Yep, probably the end of embargo for previews. For me it has nothing to do with the beta. On Friday he will just post few scapes/photomode pictures and probably that's it. It's Dani Clos himself pasting his own logo.Another image showing livery editor in use :

I'm not leaning to far into the custom livery import section. That just sounds like it would work in a way that you're just importing other people's liveries that are on some sort of marketplace that you have downloaded and have stored. It just seems impractical that they'd allow such a feature. I'd be pleasantly surprised if I was completely wrong, though.
I didn't even think of the fact that it could be a local save, I was thinking more along the lines of having a selection of downloaded, completed liveries, created by other people on the game. That is very much how Forza works too, you can have a set amount of downloaded vinyl creations from other users, and implement them onto any car. That seems the most likely to me.I think it's exactly this. Probably importing your own work / logos / designs (from previous liveries you've made) and applying them to the car you're currently working on. Wouldn't make sense not to have an "import" button (or whatever name you wanna call it) forcing you to design the same thing over and over if you wanted the same livery applied into several different cars.
I think people might be reading way too much into this pictures, imagining we will be allowed to just import pictures at will.
Having said that, I'd be pleasantly surprised if I'd be proven wrong.

The only way a ban goes through is if you actually put something in there you weren't supposed to, and that only happens when its something drastic. They should very well implement a system like Forza's because it will alleviate much of the issues with people uploading things they shouldn't be. You don't get banned for no reason, the exact opposite actually.I hope the report system isnt like Forza's, because when i played forza with a decent custom livery i made or an anime livery. Most of the lobby false reports me and i end up getting banmed and my livery taken away all because of a harmless anime livery when they race with genitals and body parts on their cars.
Like...seriously. Thats really irritating and immature. All those hours of creativity just gone down the drain

I find this to be a false statement.
Forza actually does it that way, there are moderators that review it and decide what the code of action is. They also do the same for people who intentionally go into races just for the sole purpose of crashing others. You send them a video and they review it.I agree that the report button can be abused by some people. If you win a race with a questionable but unnintentional move, for instance, and all the people flag your livery as a consequence for some reason. We would need a second filter (human?) to fix that.
I think the ideal would be allowing each person to block individual players's liveries but that might be technically too demanding.
That's exactly what happens in Forza. You either did something intentionally or unintentional. It was only a hatsune miku livery i put on a McLaren P1. No sexual exposures or anything. It was only an anime livery with vibrant colors and the cute little chibi hatsune miku characters, nothing more. I think PD should at least review the livery instead of an automated computer doing that and banning you and the livery.
Very cool! It's Dani Clos himself pasting his own logo.
EDIT to insert hi-res image:There is an option to put liveriy to body, bonnet, side mirror, rear wing, wheel and other. 👍
It is my imagination or the color of headlights can be changed? if you see the men's health 4C the headlights are painted in an orange tone:

That got me scared a bit. I mean i remember some Hatsune Miku livery being approved by Turn 10 on several cars in Forza Motorsport 6 but the whole idea of people reporting you because "insert i hate anime style because weeboo...etc" and getting banned for it is bothering me.It was only a hatsune miku livery i put on a McLaren P1. You are right, well noted.I think this is actually the menu to set the base colours for those parts
