Aston Martin Zagato livery




This was the most complex and time consuming (no pun intended) livery I've made yet. I started some days earlier with the research for the watch, made dozens of decals and then imported and put them all together ingame, layer by layer. Because of its location and the fact that 90% of it is made out of circular shapes and letters/numbers, it was tricky as hell to place "new layers" exatly in the same place, with the same angle as the ones below (GT should make it so when you add a new layer, the camera defaults to the angle you used for the layer below...). The fact that I couldn't just mirror the letters and numbers means I had basically to make a new watch on the opposite side. ^^ I have 10 layers left to add a few more details but I'm happy with how it looks atm.

Also, it helps that the RSR is already in the game as it’ll be better for reference than Google Images.

I’d do the design myself but the little time I do spend on car liveries these days is done in Forza as I already have a massive database of files to use.

made a Kill La Kill livery with both Sastuki and Ryuko on each side. took a while to line things up, put a wrap of the threads, line the blending up, decide what to do with the back etc, but what came out looks great.

Regarding the accuracy and redondancy of the sponsors, when I made my Astra Touring Car replica on the Subaru Impreza, I was bothered by using Opel logos on a Subbie, so i did an alternate version. One carbon copy, and one adapted to the new brand. But the Opel one still looks better IMO.

Not to be mean, but thats not a replica. Several logos shouldnt be on it and others should. For example, rivals Elf and Motul right next to each other on the bumper. Its inspired by the cyberevo, but its not a replica of it. I know it seems like its splitting hairs, but a replica needs to be as accurate as it can be. Hence the name replica. To replicate.

Saw 2 days ago a livery on a GT3 Mercedes from a WWII fighter plane,ME 109/Focke Wulf,in camo and yellow nosecone.
Point is I can not found it anymore.
Is there anyone who has downloaded the skin or has info about the creator?

Would love it in my library.
