Man, I love the camera movement in cockpit view. Don't know why, but to me makes the cockpit look much more 3D-ish.
Thanks for the video.

I think the head movement in cockpit views is insanely annoying,
It gives you the impression that the car is doing things that it' not.
As we don;t have g-forces or movement through the seat, the only way to feel the car's movement is through FFB and vision.
In a real car, treh brain can compute the movement it senses trough your body, process that information with the visual cues it's receiving and it's not an issue.

Well, it's an opinion.
To me it makes the camera feel more "alive", gives the sensation that something is happening, instead of the usual "glued to the seat" camera.
It's supposed to simulate the transfer of mass (of the driver's body/head) when the car changes direction or jumps/hits irregularities of the road. Even though our brain stabilises our head automatically, there is still head movement (not as exaggerated as it was on Shift), which makes your eyes have a different prespective to the same point they are focused on.

I agree that from a spectating/ replay perspective, it is great.
but from a drivers "feeling" of what the car is doing, it's innacurate.

i.e when you hit the brakes in game, the nose of the car dives and the in-car vision moves down.
White that's somewhat correct in reality that the drivers head moves forward, but your eyes as a driver still maintain their vision of the same point on the road,
you won;t "see" more of the steering wheel or dash.

So here as a driver I'm watching my braking/ turn in point in the distance

But when I get there,
I'm not watching the dash as the camera would lead me to believe
I'm already looking past the apex at the exit point

I thought the 22B is just the roadgoing version of the Subaru Impreza WRC. Not a 22B rally car. Technically speaking, of course.
It is indeed. Read the car specifications in the car dealership in GT6.
And the 1995 Subaru Impreza WRC car was driven by legendary driver "Colin McRae".
So there is a premium

I think PSVR will fix your problem:)

The thing is, you are taking what is shown on screen, as the focus of the driver's eyes. Which isn't the case. The screen is supposed to simulate the panoramic view (even though it's limited, but that could be excused as being inside an helmet). Your eyes will still focus wherever you want. When you brake or turn, your eyes might keep focusing on the same point, but your head will still move, so the angle of your panoramic view will also change, and with that, your field of view will change a little.

In the game, might not be 100% correct, and it's something that depends on what each driver does (some might correct the position of their head, others might simply move their eyes, with their head following the car movement).
*Perhaps the more correct way to simulate head movement would be, while braking/accelerating, with a change in the depth of the field of view. When you brake, your head gets closer to the wheel, when you accelerate, your head gets farther back.

*Edit: From the video that was posted earlier, where I mentioned the camera movement, you can see that they corrected the exact same thing I mentioned here. So there seems to be no more vertical move, instead, more depth changes.

The second video is a joke : They don't even know how to drive on a wheel, don't know the serie, don't play Cars game much... "If you move the wheel, the car move" ==> No ****
"Project Cars looks better" (not really a joke, but for me GT looks better)
"Nurb doesn't look well modelised"
"We will wait and see if every car will be premium"
"AI still as dumb as before" ==> He finished the race last.

There was so much love for GT in its glory days that I can understand all this negativity. A whole generation (ps3) with not so great games. It will take time before people give up their prejudices if GT is great again. I love all the "weird" features lile photomode, museum, OST but the first thing you see is how stiff the third camera view is, the lack of collision engine, no motion blur...
And it seems people at the Paris Games Week can only play on the oval. That's not the best way to avertise a game.

@queleuleu : Very true, but my post was mostly about the quality of this test : I honestly can't believe these journalist can deliver such a bad review. Every GTP member could do a much more realistic and objective review.
They could also play on the Nurb, Tokyo...

PD/Sony are clearly holding back a lot of things, especially in relation to Pro, which makes me anticipated but also worried about the release date.

GTS would need to be in a realy bad state right now to not come out before end of March.
