I saw the Charger video on Sunday morning, and I must say that it's one of the best sounds to ever come from a GT game. Rightly so - it's about time PD cracked the sound of a V8. I hated the majority of V8 sounds in GT6, they were really awful and lacked so much character. I would happily drive this car without cringing at the sound.

The tone is pretty similar but the game version just sounds so much more sterile and perfect/digital. Also still the instant shift sound wheras the real car has a clear judder to it, along with other imperfections that GT doesn't yet have.

It's another case of much better for Gran Turismo, but still quite a way left to go. Let's see how it is by release.

Also, the cabin for a racecar is stripped out. So ideally we should be hearing the road, wind and vehicle works more.

And yeah, I think it sounds too perfect. needs more nuances.

Completely agree. Much, much better sounds, but still work to do.

Charger doesnt needs much more improvement (almost exact same sound from the real car), but this M6 definetly does.

The sound seems much better in general terms. Exhaust notes from other cars are very good, almost musical. For the first time in gran turismo history is going to be possible to enjoy car sounds.

PD: Another thing i wonder is why in this video the gear changes are too robotized and in the charger video are much more natural.

I was actually more impressed with the sun reflecting off the cars. Even the glare changing colour based on the surface. Imagine being in a heated race and you having to factor in situations where you can't even see where you're going.

I think it's because the Hellcat is a street car with paddle shifters and they naturally sound even and predictable, almost sterile.

Definitely an improvement, but the shifting sound is still too smooth/instantaneous...

GT needs those splitter and underbody scraps. it's been missing the whole series.

That's how I felt about the game(rather, the build I played), didn't give me a sense of speed. That has to be fixed.

Sorry. Dont understand what you are saying. Hellcat sounds more natural because the real car have slower gear changes in comparison with the M6?

M6 sounds very good,
tyre noise is a lot more life-like, Tranny noise is much improved, and should be audible for a GT3 car,

If you place close attention you can hear the subaru's sound on 3:31 to 4:06.... I know your a big fan of subaru's @TayeezSA lmk what you think of it

The sounds of the other vehicles are very decent indeed, you could easily tell which car is which. Well, maybe not easily but just with less difficulty compared to GT6.

Yeah, thats what I've seen someone suggest. Its middle of day on first day of show so I hope there won't be many people so I can take my time. If not today, I'll probably go one more time later.

Well, theres a problem, gt sport isnt on Reboot, they had problems with 'lag', so they've But they are working on it to get it later today (event lasts 3 more hours) or tomorrow. Maybe that means theres a newer build of the game? One of the people said they dont have goodinternet connection atm.
