The chase view is terrible, it's been the same since GT4.

Only if they'd add the classic zoomed GT1 case view.

Tubi Style exhaust is not a factory fitment.

I've had modified cars for the last 20 years,
some of the mods, while gaining performance, were just annoying to drive every day,
Noisy intakes, droning exhausts, NVH into the cabin from stiff bushes, etc

Again, Ahem....

Tactical trick. PD put so much detail into the environment and sky that they want you to see as much of it as possible while driving.

I agree, not only is it awfully high and far away from the car, furthermore it has a very narrow FOV which kills the sense of speed and you cant even rotate the camera around the car, why model the beautiful premium cars if you cant even enjoy them during gameplay? Thats a standart feature every racer has nowadays.

Also if many people claim "who uses chase cam bla bla?" I like it and in many racing games I use it because I like to see what I am driving and hearing the exhaust. GT is the only game where I dont use it because it kills the joy of gameplay for me.

It's incredible that no one question made to Kazunori at the events regards this feature :ill:

I agree, although you can barely see the detail of the car. Take DriveClub for an example. You can see the inner light details, chrome exhaust, gloss effects etc. PD can simply add it as a alternative. Otherwise, the cars look like toys.

My point exactly for all racing games.

Forget anything other than Cockpit, Hood and Bumper cam
They are the only views they should even bother with in a Racing game

@Robbks Then how can you enjoy the cars during gameplay? I mean, you don't see much of the car when in cockpit view/hood cam. And certainly not in bumper cam. I don't understand your post. Your first sentence agrees with @DonZonda, and I interpreted what he said as he enjoys viewing the car, which means a better chase cam (with or without the "free-spin" around the car) would be needed. It's a great camera view for certain game modes, I for one prefer chase cam when drifting.

Because it seems in my view most of the public is more concerned about the typical GT things like AI & Sound (Which have been asked multiple times and we all know the answers to those...) while the other concerns get burried within the constant Sound & AI questions.

I'm in love with the Mazda's sound. Also PD showing they're the masters when it comes to replays

I think that depends whether you prefer 'artsy' replays or replays that you can actually follow. There was only a few shots in there where you can really see what is going on in the race.

You could go and volunteer for a cameraman at PD then

Or I could just continue to post my thoughts and opinions on this message board. You know, one or the other.

From PD website

You can watch live broadcasts of these races in real TV-like format, with spot-on track cameras and even live commentary!

They talk about live broadcasts but they're the same angles as replays and currently far from TV-like.

What's up with all this hatin' spreading like a virus over the threads? First in the general discussion thread, now here? Fo shame, people. I was about to comment the Hyundai VGT being in another livery than previously seen, but now I'm not so sure I want to discuss it.

What hating?
