Here is my GT Sport playlist link, for anyone interested in watching any of my video content, going right back to the Copper Box event last year.

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8s5ziNYjh7dYPMw2xCoG56m9YJb49rqV

Some examples of the Vids on the channel from the Beta:

The Toybota FT-1 VGT Concept at Dragon Trail

The Lotus Evora at Willow Springs

The McLaren 650S GT3 at the Nurburgring Nordschleife

The Jaguar F-Type GR.3 at Blue Moon Bay

And, of course, it wouldn't be Gran Turismo without a Nissan GTR, this one at Brands Hatch

Hope you enjoy the vids and look around the playlist for more content.

Really enjoying the Beta and glad the servers are now handling the load well.

I'm not uploading any race events as would not seem right to me without permission from the other racers. Had some great tussles though, once you get past the first corner carnage

Close race between me in a Scirocco gr4 and a Megane gr4 2 days ago.

These starts with TCS enabled are terrible.

Can someone do some testing with a 0-100 time with TCS0 and TCS1 100% throttle.
I'm willing to bet (a half eaten sandwich) that full wheel-spin is faster than TCS.

Either I'm a very poor driver or PD needs to re-work the BoP. It's like every gap I left open, an Evo was able to blow through it; however, any gap they left open was instantly closed due to the acceleration they have..

You seem to be carrying too much speed into the corners and running wide on a few occasions.
Slow in, fast out and smooth is required around the ring.

From 2:06 to 2:20, you easily caught back up to the blue Evo with good, smooth driving, but then too early and aggressive on the brakes at 2:25, and again too much brake at 2:35.
that uphill section, only needs a slight brush of the brakes, and sometimes (vehicle dependent), just an aggressive lift-off to get the front end to turn in.

But you do seem to leave some big doors open,
You're not a bad driver.
Just need to brush up on "Race Craft" a bit.

Going into the Karousel, you should have been right across to the inside to cover that gap, once that outside manouver on the black car was off the cards.

And you got caught up someone elses battle around 5:00 to 5:25.
I try and let guys like that fight each other like they were, and you only have to drive at 97-98% to match their speed.
but you have to keep close enough and on the inside line at all times to protect your own position, but be ready to capitalise, as they will almost always, run wide on the outside.

Preciate the feedback man. Gonna try and work on these key points. Hopefully it'll stopped me from getting walked down from behind.

Im trying to figure out when its faster. this one was with tcs turned on. otherwise all the 4-wheel drive cars fly you by

As @Robbks says, you just need to work on your racecraft a bit. You dive for inside gaps that aren't really there, or are about to close, or you go for the outside line and that's never going to work. Both of those situations mean you're slower on corner exit and that lets others by.

The Nordschleife is so twisty and narrow that sometimes the best strategy is to drive close to them and capitalise when they make a mistake.

yeah Nordschleife gives me quite some issue when it comes to overtaking. And as you saw in the video, had I closed that gap on that Aremberg turn, I probably wouldn't have gotten knocked off track like that. Makes a lot of sense looking at the replay. Preciate the feedback all.

My second and last race of the day, two pretty frustrating races, the one above is the second of the two and my best performance.
At the time of being hit off on the final corner I was pretty angry, but on reflection I don't really know if I'm breaking too early or not? Any feedback would be welcome with this! :)

I try and take the opening lap pretty steady if I'm not at the front, as there is no real need to loose all your SR points trying to win an essentially pointless race. But I think after lap one and I calm down a little I put in a pretty good performance to come back through some of the field, though I do wish these races were a little longer as I'm pretty sure with a few more laps I would have been able to make it into the top 10!
