Some races from yesterday.

Usually I never show bad races but this one on the Nurburgring was just aweful, had a lot of contact or being pushed off the track. None of the times my SR went down so you can easily tell who was at fault. I even avoided one accident by going into the gravel trap myself. Rather have that than hitting the other guy and seeing him in the gravel trap because of me. Wish others in this race would think the same.



Then also one good race on the Nurburgring. Fighting for 8th position with Red_Orbus which can be just as fun as fighting for 1st as you can see. I was a bit quicker but I just couldn't find a right moment to make a good pass. Was hoping he'd make a small mistake when I was so close behind him but he held up quite well.



Qualifying time bug put me in last place on Brands Hatch GP with the Scirocco. After 2 lonely races with the Scirocco in front this one was actually the best race of the day. Starting last and ending 8th, gaining 10 positions. Had some very nice overtakes and always fair racing. Could've gained more positions maybe if I'd be a bit more agressive but I don't like hitting other people by accident and ruining their race. So I was very happy with the end result.



And last race on Willow Springs, no longer using the AMG. Thought I'd try @praiano63's Nurburgring setup with the GTR, but with the gearing of his older Willow setup. Turns out that works pretty good. First lap felt a bit weird still and had @turnupdaheat chasing me but then I got a bit more used to the car and managed to close the gap to 1st and overtake him. After that I pulled away quite easily which I didn't really expect, think they made some mistakes behind me?

I take it the off track grip has move towards reality and away from arcade or is does this gif not represent the norm at this point?

Again 2 nice races to show.

First one at the Nurburgring Nordschleife, lost some time in the first sector but after that I kept closing in with every sector untill I was right on dkdevilsoul's tail. I didn't see any way to pass though so I all I could do was follow untill the final straight where he made a mistake and I passed him easily with the help of slipstream. I messed up the corners after that however, so he was able to pass me again, with me still finishing 3rd.



Second was on Brands Hatch GP again with the Scirocco. @Lord Protector was following me closely untill I made a big mistake in lap 2. He was able to pass me after that and I had to push to keep up in the corners. It's quite hard to try and pass the GTR with the FWD Scirocco with the low traction on corner exit. But in the final lap I managed to take back the lead again after a few nice battles and barely won the race.



Thanks to the Scirocco I also went up to driver rating S today, was really trying to get that for quite a while already. Not that it makes a difference right now, you still get entered in the same races anyway since there are not that many S ranks in the beta, just get matched with the same A ranks and even some B ranks as before.

Thank god i managed to recover my tune after the bug.

Currently 1:11.3 at willow and here is back to back laps just 0.04s apart. Cant wait to race this thing.. still room for fine tune and better driving and just over a second shy of EU top 10. (sadly filling with gtr's again..) I do have oppvaskkost at my friend rankings for a reality check..

The car is just lightyears more enjoyable to drive vs gtr. Also ffb is so much better.

And that sound at 0:31 is just car porn..



And thank you Praiano63 once again for the base tune. Changed dampers quite a lot for this, but it was once again a great starting point. Springs, LSD, and gears still untouched.



Have to put that ps4 pro on my shoppinglist for better share quality..

Love the 3D echo effect in the fly-bys. Sound has really improved with GT Sport.

Ever since I saw the initial footage below, I was sold on the sounds - they just need some slight tweeking before release.

From what I've experienced, it has, somewhat.

There's been a few times where I've put two wheels on the grass and lost control of the car, but it doesn't happen sometimes. It's kinda odd.

Just happend in the 1st Willow Race.

Clip of 2 races at Willow Springs I made today. In the first race I was to nervous to be competitive, but second I ended being 5th. Both in the Corvette C7 with a min/max setup.
First time racing with some of the GTP crew @Firehuntah, @turnupdaheat and @Outspacer.
