Can't wait for the image blowout (if it happens)!! ♥. The trailer easily is the most beautiful for a racing game ever and the theme is more than perfect ♥, and a Beetle GR.3??!! Ok, I'm desperate to see it!! ♥

This may add to the rally car usage:D

Interesting:)
Cool test. Would be even cooler if PD gave us the tools to create auto-cross events and layouts. I'm still holding on to the idea of an amazing track creator and hopefully an event creator.

Kaz let it known he loved the way Modnation Racers allowed for track creation (within a simpler coding environment). Maybe the PS4 now has the potential for track / event creators within GT, being inspired by Media Molecule, the developer of Modnation Racers and LittleBigPlanet. I suppose it's a matter of priority, now that the means have become exponentially simpler and developing now more accessible.

I get that everyone plays the game their own way, but if you're trying to make a larger point I'm not seeing it.
Very few people are collecting hundreds of cars to end up getting a trophy for it. I'm thinking this is what is leaving you to the statistics you're using. Do you know how many of the possible 6 million people who played GT6 stuck around to buy enough cars to get trophies for them?

I'm not trying to win anything, I'm interested in knowing what statistics you're using. Could you list them? I'm a bit curious on the numbers now. I'm not even sure what trophies there are in GT5 and 6, aside from the trophy for driving for as long as the entire Autobahn.

And it was hyperbole, saying everyone enjoys the car collecting aspect of GT. From what I've seen, though, it's a huge selling point. More cars means that in all likelihood, there's A car in there for everyone. Mine isn't a Veyron or the cars from WWII. It's probably a Miata or S2000. Or a '02 NSX!

Engine sounds are really good in the trailer - but for some reason, to me, they sound very similar to what I've become accustomed to hearing in the beta. Could this be the first time where PD use in-game engine sounds for a trailer?

The engine in the trailer are just dubbed sound, I think.

Now that doesn't look exactly like the trailer does it

But

It is the RCZ Groupe B and it seems to use the wings from the 908 just like Loeb's 208 T16 Pikes Peak car which I asume will be there as well.

Kaz must have said to the music director regarding GT trailers, "Needs more Jurassic Park."

Am I alone in wanting GT to have more interactivity to it?

As a spectator in an online lobby (or anywhere else), it would be so nice to have a pre-race grid walk. Customize your outfit, bring an umbrella, or just have a DSLR on hand to take this in as a photo mode opportunity. Bump into Brundle, Coulthard, Buxton and the models, virtual celebrities, fans wearing sandals over socks. I think it would make for an amazing feature. I can't be alone on this. And with a good car customizing feature in the game. . . Ahhhh. As a racing fan, this would bring great joy to me. PD would have to execute this, not flawlessly, but with great care, making it ooze with authenticity.

Edit -

Please please please please. Beta testers. Please, let them know this is a feature with "VR" written all over it.
In your picture from the trailer, there are heat haze :)

Subaru WRX Gr. 4
Can't be, the livery is plain unlike the WRX's livery (check beta videos), and the grille it's straight rather than big, and seems to follow the lights' line... Any car but the WRX
