View attachment 462456 I I'm not sure if this is the place to post this, and what does it even mean .But I've found the PS4 logo in the course maker app.
I actually make apps for both Android and iOS so I can say with confidence that the PS4 logo PNG file being in the app files is not just a coincidence. I suspect the existing course maker app will be updated to fully support PS4 (if it doesn't already) when GT7 is released. So you can make a track and then have the choice to either play it on GT7 or GT6.
This would also explain why it took so long for the Course Maker to come out. It looks like they were creating the app with PS4 compatibility in mind. That way when GT7 finally comes out, they can use the existing app for making courses instead of making a whole new app just for GT7. In fact, PS4 compatibility with the app may already be finished or close to being finished and was just removed for the public release build. This would explain why that PNG file is hidden away as they may be doing internal testing (sometimes small files like this PNG can end up in an apps files even though the function for the file was removed for the build).
So GT7 must be pretty close if PD is already referencing the PS4 in the GT6 course maker app. At this rate, I highly doubt we will see the calendar turn to 2016 without seeing some sort of official GT7 news and possibly a release date. If PD is serious about releasing GT7 before 2017, they need to start building hype (outside of this forum) sooner rather than later. Especially sense the console racing simulation genre is getting more competitive.
I'd almost be willing to put my money on a GT7 announcement at the Playstation Experience event this December.
