Another quick lap on dragon trail, to those of you getting 1min 36s laps you guys are animals! 1min 41s is the quickest I've managed so far. This is on the standard tune the car comes with.

Aside from the tune, you are accelerating out of turns in too low a gear and sometimes you hit the limiter which will slow you. Try shifting up a gear before you power out and you can rely on the car's strong torque to push you out with less drama and more speed.

Here's one of my races from last night, no banzai laps as I wasn't under any major pressure but the last 2 laps will give you an idea of what I'm suggesting.

This was the grid of yesterday's race at Brands Hatch:

A sheep among wolves.
Although I know I wasn't competitive with the Alfa, I still managed to hold my position the whole race.

The 4C Gr.3 on the other hand was a total disaster at Dragon Tail (as you may see in @turnupdaheat's video).
I must say the Alfas are very much fun for hotlapping, but are way too slow on the straights to be a real threat in the races.

I was pretending racing as clean as i can. This was not the first time that jeanbruno9 did this kind of things with me and a some of others players lately.
As you can see this time , he bump me at 18:30 and 18:52. Then i upset myself and ended wrongly the race for both. I regret , i ve lost control , i was wrong to do this but i did it after several races with this guy on my bump.
For barret, i ve tried to make a X to pass him inside again but i ve miss my input for a few centimeters and i have touched his rear right end. i stayed more prejudicated than him for this wrong move but i m sorry.

In addition to the advice that @turnupdaheat gave you:
I noticed you are using ASM and traction control. The ASM kills the corner speed and can cost a couple of seconds a lap depending on the track and car. I do not know what traction control setting you are using, but it needs to be off for maximum speed. If you need to use it, I would not go more than 1 in the setting.

Went to GTS for a few races today after a couple of months out. Managed to make into the top5 with the Genesis Gr.3 won't be there for long but was nice to see my time there. Could make it into the 36:7xx but I'm tired and it's to hot today ^^

@Z28_ Since you've had the beta for a few months, if you compare racing in reality to GTS, how does car stability in dirty air feel between them? Is GTS a little too sensitive?

I can definitely feel a huge difference when traveling at high speeds closely behind someone. I've been thinking it's upwash from the vehicle ahead which impacts the downforce on my car. Initially I believed this to be more of an F1 thing, but it's crazy how different your car drives when you're behind someone. On my wheel it's very noticeable. The car gets loose.

The TC is set to 1, I'm not on a wheel and using a DS4. I can control it on 0 but I was more focused on getting a tidy lap. Definitely need a good tune for the genesis though. Need one of them G29s to miss having a wheel was great on GT5/6.
