PC2 on consoles looks noticeably worse though

Not really. PC2 is graphically worse on consoles by a significant amount as well:

Imo both games look pretty, it is just a matter of visual approach on how these games taking a different perspective on realistic imagery, much the same when we seeing something like scenery or landscape we have different perspective on what we saw with our eyes as in real life. Our brain is working to analyze and decide which pictures is the most realistic imagery and surely the answer will not the same and equal as you would expected.

Streets of Willow looks pretty sterile and dead in real life. GTS had that pretty realistic in GT6 but it didn't turn out very nice because you may have a bland, sterile, desert-like track like in real life, but you miss all the other stuff that makes for a good race in SoW itself: the heat, the smell, the G forces, the sand in the track, etc.

So, PD made it prettier this time (and I like it). That doesn't mean they are better than real life photos of the place. They may be more appealing to some, sure. But I think for those who have had the opportunity to enjoy a track day or just watch a race there live, PD's interpretation (with the hot air balloons etc) might not be so appealing.

The ballons are there to mitigate the lack in sense of speed you get when you're driving in the middle of nowhere. Same goes for the clouds. Take the clouds and the balloons out and it will be a very different experience (and the shots won't look so full and eye catching).

Very disappointing then 👎 and zero reasons to buy this game then. PC2 it is :) I'll still hold a little hope for when the final car list is reveal.
Zero reasons? Really? I can give you a few great ones off the top of my head - the livery editor, the awesome Scapes mode, Sport Mode, the list goes on. Just because the one car you think is the greatest in the world is yet to be included doesn't make this game a total piece of garbage. Have fun with Project CARS.

Where did you read the "total piece of garbage"?Also its his opinion that GTS do not have those elements that he wants. The same way you feel that an awesome Scape mode in a game that call itself "sim" its a good reason to buy it.

Actually I think that its gonna be the other way when both games will be available.
At the technical level there will be no story and I'm just talking about that aspect, which PC2 will have better things out of that look and other talk, this video is just horrible to see and it does not exist, as I repeat, no comparison with GTsport.
However this is the topic that speaks exclusively about GTsport if you want to make comparisons there is the specific topic or better yet the section dedicated to PC2 :)

I did not start a comparison between those two.Since this topic is exclusive for GTS then you should have pointed that out and not compere those 2 titles as you did.

It seems that videos that show tutorials for race mode tests are not "demos" but links to youtube videos. That means if you do not have an Internet connection you would not have access to them. In short the offline mode also depends on the internet connection.

It does not seem bad to me, since it is a way that makes it possible to make richer demonstrations, perhaps with videos of the actual circuits, and that allows to update more quickly if the case, but it is another element more that the demonstration that the sport of GT has thought eminently as an online game.

As you can clearly see I was speaking for myself but keep playing the man and not his points. Maybe if I spell the points out you might have a go at playing them. I was arguing that, TO ME, it was indefensible that there are only 6 US car models in the whole game.
You're asking anyone to defend GT Sport or PD for something that is indefensible to you. All you do is talk trash. Great gotcha moment you had there. Keep being crusty.
