Maybe we ought to compare similar environments and lighting conditions..
Probably PSX in December. Assuming the BETA will be released within the first 4 months of next year, announcements will probably follow. Mainly new cars and possibly new tracks I would imagine.Anyway , when do you guys think PD is going to release more info? Is there any other event soon?
PSX is the next major one, so there could be a second trailer (hoping for a demo, but not likely to happen).Anyway , when do you guys think PD is going to release more info? Is there any other event soon?
SEMA show (but it's not related to video games as far as I'm aware but GT is somehow related to that show, so who knows?) and the PlayStation Experience (we could get some details there) and PGW isn't over yet so maybe some more infos and screenshots coming throughout this week. I'll just wait and see.Anyway , when do you guys think PD is going to release more info? Is there any other event soon?
Pretty sure that was pre rendered, everything other than the shots of the cars in the glass building were so obviously CGI enhanced. Even then the pit shots don't look mind blowing either, looks like the pre rendered trailers we had for GT5 & 6.
It was old racing footage and nothing to do with the game itself.Porsches!!!! Porsches!!!!!!!Did anyone glanced the Porsches Sport Protos at a Gran Turismo Official Video?????????????? Please tell me I´m not crazy!
Hmm. Pretty sure it was a real life video. Would be nice though. *Tree'dPorsches!!!! Porsches!!!!!!!Did anyone glanced the Porsches Sport Protos at a Gran Turismo Official Video?????????????? Please tell me I´m not crazy!

They'd probably show off the missing SEMA Cars from 2012 to 2014 in GTSSince GT is being pushed as something more than a video game and getting morr tied with actual motorsports , SEMA would be somewhat good to release some info , not saying they will. We will know what car wins the GT award , that's some news
I think they were thrown in there to showcase the history of racing perhaps? I donno, PD are weird like that haha.No kidding! I thought that PD just decided to render vintage style for fun! Dudes, of course I know they were real life old racing videos, but show me one example when PD included something in their promotional videos that they were not going to include. As if when PD promoted GT4 and included Ferraris just to mess with us.

Hopefully a full mechanical damage system, flags and penalties to make the racing more realistic and authentic.Ok so let me stay positive about this. Ok from what it seem like they are focusing on motorsports this time around and maybe we could see a major overhaul to career mode? Kinda like how project cars is in a way with the career mode on there....
I'm actually not sure whether amar was "confirming" it or if amar hadn't seen it until then, but the accidental leak had already been up for at least a month by that point according to Zlork and some others on Gaf because they were talking about it on GTSurgeons in April.Anyway, It's a shame Amar212 does not frequent here any more

Okay. I know I sounded a bit harsh towards PD in the past, but I will like to see how they handle this one if it's a spinoff of the main series. I really like that GT Sport may focus on motorsports, so it should be interesting. I won't be buying it day 1, however I will keepin' an eye on this title. They just better not mess up like they did with GT5 and GT6, but something tells me they kinda won't they got FIA on their backs (YES!).
But what type of motorsports will PD be focusing? Every kind like pCARS? Makes you wonder.

Ha ha. ^^' Well, I'm kinda still disappointed in PD at the moment. But I will indeed be keeping an eye on their work for GTS. If it becomes a good title everybody loves, I may reconsider. It doesn't have to be mind blownly great either. Just as long as they gotten everything right and corrected all past errors. What do you MEAN you won't be buying it on day one!?!?!?!
Hmmm. Sounds interesting. Will love to see how this plays out then. *Fingers crossed*Everything so far points to the "motorsport" being the general idea of having a FIA sanctioned Gran Turismo (the game) series of categories and not any specific "motorsport" exisiting series.
That is, just like Starcraft is an (electronic) sport, you'd have an eletronic/virtual motorsport with Gran Turismo (with proper regulations) that happens to be sanctioned by the organization that oversees the majority of real-life motorsports.
So it could very well be Beetles running against Chaparral VGTs and still be a motorsport. I call it the FIA Tortoise-Hare series.
