Actually, the focus on motorsport does seem quite Project CARS-ish, now that you mention it.

It'll probably be much more engaging with the whole FIA involvement and the idea of constant worldwide competition for nations and manufacturers (which GT would do much better with a significantly largely userbase), but the general idea is very similar.

Yea i just read jordan post on the front page about what we know so far and it's three different modes. Campaign, Sports mode and Arcade mode. Hmmmm.... So that's some new info.

It's a nostalgic feeling but also i want things to go forward. And to me, GT series always deliverd that.

That's the great thing about Gran Turismo it pulls at the heart strings much more than any other console racer (unless Codies seen sense and released a Toca or PG a PGR)

I'm kinda worried about some clips of the graphics. The R18 looks fantastic but the some parts like mx5 seem to be a slightly enhanced GT6. I hope to see improvement for GT's level of details. Driveclub and Nfs do look better in some areas, PD are capable of realism than others, so I hope to see this in all areas.

So essentially this GTS is a reply to Project CARS.

Rather than a reply to Forza.

I guess GTS is a standalone game and GT7 should be the reply to Forza.

The trailer is one thing. The game is another. I so hope PD delivers with it, I would be a very happy man if they do!
A few things about the trailer:
-The "Over 100 years of motorsport" text tells me that the game will have historic cars from heaps of different eras. Hell, we may even see a car from 1915 in the game if this is the case!

-Vision GT's look as though they will be coming to GT Sport

-The 2015 Audi R8 GT3, Aston Martin Vantage GT3, Mazda MX-5 ND, Mercedes AMG GT, Alfa 4C and Lamborghini Veneno shown in the trailer are making me really excited. The renders look like they can be achieved on a PS4

-The building showing a few of these cars has to be a photomode location in the full game. That's what I think anyway.

-I get the impression that the races will be class-based for the FIA Online Championship

-No car sounds of any kind are present

PD's lighting engine is second to none. Very impressive.

All I know is there are six cars single file. Much hasn't changed in 20years. Maybe this will be an origin story of how GT began. A reboot. We seemed to do pretty good with six cars on track for the first 10 years.

I'd like to see some proof of this. You could also explain why DC isn't filled with the GT roster, too.

That's not how licensing works.

While many licencing is made for a single franchise, in that case, many companies allowed the use of their cars in GT only, however, they could easily be brought to from GT to DC, depending on the first contract deal in the first place.

Driveclub cars seem to not have been made "Franchise licence" which is clearly shown in the GT Sport trailer, as it includes a lot of the Driveclub cars, you can expect 90% if not 100% of the Driveclub cars in GT Sport.

Won't they all need to be up to FIA standard so surely every real world track will need a relevant update if they haven't already recieved one?
