Okay, what I've found is, setting my Fugu Z to N200 and then choosing N300, yields the mixed N classes. I leave it at N300 and I get only N300 cars.
Tried it with the Beat. N100 gave me N100 cars. Left the Beat at N100 and chose N200 class. This gave me mixed N classes.
So, if anyone wants multi-class racing in N class(someone mentioned earlier), they'll have to suss out what range as per normal.
