The amount of Visible polygons is crazy, this looks like GT5 ..

The whole thing is polygons...?

I used to have a love-hate relationship with Tsukuba, it's suited for drifting and it can be a nightmare for time trials (GT Championship qualifiers from GT5, never forget). But I have been leaning more towards loving Tsukuba, having much further appreciation for its use in Best Motoring and time attack events.

Also the car list is stellar. I used to think the E30 requests are all blown out of proportion like the requests for GT to add minor US circuits (think of club circuits like Willow Springs but more obscure than Ascari). But you people earned it, and now I wanna drive it too.

Regarding the cycle of new tracks, I'm beginning to think, with tinfoil hat in mind, the courses we see being added are first commonly the easiest to make. Monza is a simple stop'n'go track, and Tsukuba is a tight but short technical course. All have one or two layouts, and were from GT6. Perhaps bare that in mind for next month.

I read somewhere it was 385bhp..:odd:

Edit: aa yes.. You are right. I was checking some slightly tuned version.
The final ones in 1992 had 380ish hp but I‘d say that was just qualifying spec lasting two laps before blowing up :D

So looks like I'll be hot lapping nordschleife in the GT500 cars. Will post videos of my laps as I haven't done one in months so you can compare the speed difference over GT3. My fastest GT3 lap (no tuning) was 6:30 I have a feeling these could hit the sub 6 mark possibly if not the 6:10 area

I'm really looking forward to getting a go in the GTR GT500. I've wanted to drive that monster since Super GT debuted the 2.0T in 2014. If I'm not mistaken, the 2016 GT500s don't suffer from drag on the straights compared to the 2017 GT500s right?

The 2017 cars are actually 2016 cars with shorter overhang, and a much smaller rear diffuser to go with a wider rear wing. The 2017 car is less draggy but also less potent in cornering. However the times still dropped I think because Engine outputs still increased and aero engineers finding ways to mitigate losses.
