Tsukuba is a nice surprise though. Expect it will be either Fuji or Motegi by the way. Anyway, it is nice track for time trial and I guess this update did have focus on time trial (VR TT mode). Can't wait to see Tsukuba in 4K glory! :D

About the car roster I'm happy with Super GT cars. And the M3 turns out being a Sport Evo which is nice 👍 The mystery is finally solved between debating whether Silvia S14 or R33 and the winner is R33! I'm also curious how the Red Bull X cars sounded like. They were one of good sounding cars back in GT6 just imagine how good the new sound will be...

Overall, nice update. Will looking forward through future updates. Guess legendary circuits like Spa or La Sarthe will come when WEC season takes off in my opinion 👍

The best thing about this update is Tsukuba. It’s one of the best TT circuits there is, and it’s quintessential GT.

Next update will have new layouts of Tsukuba too...

The BMW & GR.2s are going to be fun.

Very very disappointed with Tsukuba being the new track. Its such a small and narrow circuit. It's only decent for slower cars

The car list is incredible tho.

I was never a fan of the track in my minimal GT4 experience, but personally I like the twisty narrow winding tracks although I have a feeling I'm not going to be very good at this track, I'm still not the greatest at fast corner exits since I've removed TC and switched to a wheel - I spin out so much still...

Yep, very dissappointed with the new track. Really had to be Fuji, Le Mans or Spa.

The only cars I am vaguely interested in are the GT500s too. Still no Ford or Bentley for GT3 - so obviously a miss there.

A nice update, especially Tsukuba. I really enjoy it and from the PoV that it would take less to model than a bigger track, it's easier to push out and at least show they're trying.

Tsukuba and a proper GT40, that’s me happy! :) So many hours throwing an MX5 round there, GT isn’t the same without it. I can only hope the GT40 doesn’t cost 20m (though it probably will), otherwise it’s grind time again... :grumpy:

I might be one of the few who thinks this is a really lackluster update. I expected more out of PD with the termination of GT6. A new track is cool but 3 more GTR's is not. Oh well I'm sure someone is happy about it.

Let's contextualize a few things, it`s a Japanese game, and Tsukuba is a track accessible to the Japanese public and tourists in general for testing, track days, drift, time trials and etc, they love it, it's the same as you complaining about Brands Hatch for an English and Laguna Seca for an American, now i did not like the selection of some cars, 2 RedBulls, plus a GT-R (without the LCD screen with the telemetry that we have in the GT6) and another RC-F GT3 that is practically the same as we already have, they could have put a BRZ GT300 and the LC 500 GT 500; to stir up the discussion, i vote for Macau in a future update for those who complained that the track does not fit the online.

Tsukuba will be fun. Can't wait to see the GT6-GTS comparisons and how much PDI have changed the track. And it makes sense to have this track given the Super GT cars in this update.

Wonder if we'll ever get an updated 'Seca? Would love that. Could be a good way to introduce more Muscle cars. Or maybe the Porsche 917/30.

Anyway, back to reality, I guess.

Me.

Super GT does start in April, weekend after next. Not outside the realm of possibility that we may get Le Mans cars and/or La Sarthe in a May/June update as that is when the race takes place (June 16-17).

I'm sorry but it's fugly as all heck imho, and yes I might be alone on that view point but ...

It should be 2.8 milions ... as in GT6 .

The 20 Milion GT40 in GT6 was the race version (1969 winner of Lemans with Gonzales and Icx ) and in the game was a standard type (not premium)

My biggest issue is with people using the word "new" when describing it. We're not getting any new tracks, just additions to pre-existing assets and (essentially) remasters of real world tracks in previous GT games. I enjoy additions to the game as it started pretty scarce, but to call it new just rubs me the wrong way. And I don't like to get rubbed that way unless you know the safe word ;)
Let me help you: Tsukuba it's a new track for GT Sport. ;)

Glad Tsukuba gets added in GTS, to all Tsukuba lover, enjoy this old classic race car battle between variety of groups/class from GrA, JTCC, N1, JGTC GT500 to Ferrari Challenge car, be sure to watch the time attack and race at Tsukuba.

Added another video, this time McLaren F1 has the spotlight driven hard in the rain, high speed zig zag, road test, and rain race at tsukuba :D I wonder if Tsukuba will have wet or time of day option in GTS. Notice how soft the suspension of McLaren F1 is.

See? PD do surprises well.

I mentioned in another thread, with the GR Supra coming next month, maybe Fuji arrives with it. It is Toyotas home circuit. We'll see.

I'm not perturbed by it. Think of it this way. All the (basic)GT-Rs are out of the way now.

Edit: One more thing, I'm picking the Mini 1.3i as one of the next cars to arrive. ;)

But it's a good news for GT Sport, because it's an iconic car and it will bring more "old fans" you know, that 2010 F1 season was one of my favorite, because of the return of Michael in F1, seeing Vettel winning his first title and the comeback of Gran Turismo 5. :D

Michael Schumacher, will always be my favourite F1 driver. 2012 he was awesome to watch. Miss him heaps. Cheering Vettel for that German/Italian Anthem it’s classic.

I wonder how long these free updates are going to last for. It will be interesting because I'm sure Polyphony will want to make any new tracks available in Sport mode races, so maybe tracks will be free as to not split the player base? Tbh I'm sure most who play the game regularly wouldn't mind paying some for new tracks.

I have to admit, if Tsukuba was part of GT5, I don't remember at all.... I didn't play it as excessively as some, but more than a few hours.

Can someone assess how the speed of Super GT cars compares to the LMP2 class? I don't care about DTM silhouette cars, would love to see LMP2 in the new "Gr. 2".

As for tracks, I like that there is a new one and I'd happily pay for a track pack dlc. It's easy, actually, just release one WEC and one IMSA track pack and I'm happy :D.
