I find it strange how tiny outfits like PCARS2 and Assetto Corsa can afford Spa but not PD? Doesnt make sense does it?

I suspect Spa is already in the DLC pipeline for GTS... its just a matter of time... hell I reckon it'll be out this year, hopefully before Xmas. Its just inconceivable that everyone has it but PD...

Lotus and Bentley (the GT3 model) are both in Forza and Project Cars. I don't think it works that way.

I don't know why all the hype for SPA,always thought it was a bad track
Why do you think Spa is a bad track?

It has just about everything, including, but not limited to: slow hairpin, chicane, elevation change, high speed double apex, flowing corners, long straight, heavy braking zone, and multiple areas for overtaking.

Professional drivers often cite it as a favorite and one of the best tracks in the world. It's challenging in the dry and diabolical in the wet.

I'm sincerely curious why people don't like this track. I understand it's annoying for people like myself to constantly ask for it, but that's no fault of the track. The criticisms I've read are statements like, "I just don't like it" or "Overrated" with no explanation.

Back then SPA was even better, the new shicane infront of the finish straight just killed the flow of that track - for me is SPA and Imola one of the best tracks made.

Edit: Ohhhh and of course the Red Bull Circuit in Austria.... haha:rolleyes:

The chicanes kill that track for me. Don't get me wrong, I like the track but it's probably near the bottom on the list of tracks I'd want to see.

Also Pouhon. Hate that corner.

Spa isn't that interesting to drive on.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

^^ This is BLASPHEMY!!!  LOL...All joking aside, I think you should elaborate on that comment. Just saying its is a bad track is not enough!

SPA has just about everything a "complete" track should have. Long straights, tight hairpins, sweeping corners and most of all plenty of places to overtake...ooh and don't get me started on Eau Rouge. One downfall (depending on how you look at it) I'd say is maybe the length of the track but then again, the Nurb is a lot longer, a long bumpier, a lot more technical and most racing fans are crazy about it.

Fair enough that chicanes disrupt the flow of tracks, but they are a different type of challenge where lap time can be greatly affected and provide overtaking opportunities. Suzuka is another fantastic track with a chicane, racing history wouldn't be the same without it.

Do you hate Pouhon because it's difficult?

I'm going to file that loquacious critique in the "I just don't like it" category. ;)

Not sure how it's "loquacious."

It's not that I just don't like it, I just see nothing really that special going on with the track. It's got history, yeah, but that alone doesn't sell a track being fun or not for me.

Kind of. I'm not a fan of double corners or what some call the 'Tilke Corner'. I know he didn't do Spa but you get the idea. Does Pouhon count the following corner? I'm not sure.

Honestly this is preposterous, I cannot fathom how anyone can say that. It's a superb race track, as is Road America, both are sorely missing in this game.

I was joking, because no one ever gives a critique detailing why they don't like Spa. Different tracks speak to different people, I get it, but sometimes I just think people don't like it because it's difficult to master and can be frustrating to learn.

Pouhon is the double apex left. I like double and triple apex corners, so much fun to get right and so painful to get wrong.

Tilke uses a lot of (what I'll I kindly refer to as) "inspiration" from other tracks. Look at COTA for example, very cool track, but definitely a Frankentrack.

Tilke didn't design the layout of COTA, Tavo Hellmund and someone else whose name is escaping me right now did. He only took their design and turned it into a racetrack.

Hopefully they add more French cars too like the new Mégane RS and also first one to compete against the other Méganes. For the Méganists, they could throw in a 2CV for them.
