I'm still all in for Rainbow Road to be added or Bowsers Castle 3.

*SNES Rainbow Road is added*
BOOOO TOO SPEED FOCUSED TECHNICAL RACING IS THE ONLY TR00 RACING

*MK 7 Rainbow Road is added*
BOOOO THAT JUMP FROM THE RINGS TO THE PLANET SURFACE WOULD DESTROY A REAL SUSPENSION

Regarding new track:
-Never established for sure where Deep Forest is, so.....

Regarding SPA-GATE:
Of the three most seemingly over requested real tracks to put in GT Sport, I'd prioritize it. Fuji can wait, Silverstone can never appear in any game ever again and I wouldn't miss it. (Also, let's move the British GP to Brands Hatch while we're at it)

How would modern f1 cars handle brands hatch?
Could they even go 2 wide?
I'm not familiar with the real like track, but isn't it extremely bumpy and very requires tons of use of the kerbs?

I can't find any races but in time trial it looks like there's room in some spots for two wide but it's always risky.

Not sure about the bumps and curbs.

Regarding the width, they do race at Monaco, so in comparison, Brands is definitely wide enough.

I was joking, because no one ever gives a critique detailing why they don't like Spa.

I agree with you that it's more of a personal opinion than a logical one,i really don't see what the fuss is all about with that track, same goes for Laguna Seca(but with laguna its just that i think that track is boring with a really cool corkscrew)

And it's a major talking point every year that it's too narrow for any actual racing and passing. Not the best example to use.

Monaco is short enough and with enough sharp turns so the cars never go fast enough to cause a really big crash, imagine if Monaco had some long straights. Why people still race at Macau?Whhyyyy?

Cars can barely take that super tight hairpin. (Macau)

Monaco is a destination, there will never not be an f1 race in Monaco, too much money.

In an era of boring f1, brands would be more of the same old boring, no passing because the aero kits would ruin your downforce if you try to pass on the outside.

Silverstone was exciting, I fear brands would just suck.

I think it's a perfectly good example as the question relates to F1 and Monaco has been on the F1 calendar for a long time. I haven't heard anyone realistically say Monaco shouldn't be used for F1.

There are other tracks that are difficult to pass on. I think Brands is wide enough and when considering tire wear, there are definitely overtaking possibilities for F1. Yes, it will be very difficult for Grosjean and Verstappen to avoid a crash, but we don't necessarily need to cater to them. ;)

This last Silverstone race was fantastic. Although the excitement wasn't only because of the track itself. Racing incidents and safety cars made it a much more exciting race than some past Silverstone races.

I think the Aero thing is a hallmark of F1 and a much larger topic than the width of Brands. I think the things that make Brands challenging would make it a good track for F1. I agree it wouldn't be the most exciting track for F1, but I do not think it's disqualified due to it's width.

Hopefully the changes next year brings the cars closer together

I’m a classic tracker. Anything short of the big 3 we are missing is unacceptable.

Midway Raceway, Trial Mountain Citcuit, and High Speed Ring

I thought the big three were Grand Valley, Trial Mountain, and Deep Forest. I've also only been playing since GT5 but I wouldn't put Mid-Field because it was added late in GT6. GV, TM, and DF were around the whole time.

adb
What am I missing? Something GT related?

Re F1 at Brands, racing would suck but qualy laps would be breathless

Kinda like Nordschleife (Green Hell)... I love doing time trials there, but racing against other cars is a total nightmare. Worse than Brands.
