Bring back route x !!
Maybe this france track will be called Special Super Stage Siege Solo Route XV
Bring back route x !!
Gran Turismo: The Real Speculation Simulator
As it’ll be a track based on a French location, hopefully they’ll include a few French cars too...? I think the 2cv would be a great car for some awesome close racing
Like this!
This is surely a SportA road course!? Really? This game (when you look at how many road cars have been added in the previous updates) is starting to look more and more like Driveclub, where in the world does the SPORT part of GT Sport come into this?
Yes, that was exactly my point. Since Silverstone was used as an example of an exciting race, I pointed out that it wasn't because of the track. Therefore, you cannot conclude that Silverstone is a better track because it's wider than Brands. If F1 cars had paintball guns on the hood with some fake missiles it would bring millions of fans to motorsports ,but we cant count on crashes and penalties to make a race exciting.

I feel like its starting to look more like a classic GT game.
I think with the FIA series underway, and revolving daily races, they are fulfilling their Sport obligations. Penalty complaints and all.
Although I would definitely love to take GTS physics/cars/graphics, and insert all of Driveclub's racing locales/tracks:tup:

The thing is that this is not a classic GT game, it's supposed to be a platform for e-sports racing. GT7 should have tracks like this, not GTS.

I think it comes in the form of sport mode maybe!
Road courses and road cars are part of motorsports, they are still adding race cars(classic and modern) a little variety with road cars doesn't hurt.
Haha, that's cute...So basically you mean a time trial with no competitive racing? Sport is more like group racing, cars actually overtaking each other, not just a casual drive and show event.
Are you forgetting about gr.x? These cars are out of place in a esports game.
For the record i don't think TT will happen. Nor am I that fussed. I just think it would be kinda cool, and preferable to another fake track.
Haha, that's cute...
You obviously misunderstood my question. How does a road course (as far as I know), belong in GT SPORT?
And the livery editor can add that track-day appearance/authenticity, I get it. It's just that it's starting too look very similar to Driveclub, that isn't really officially organised racing, and it's a bit worrying.

The fact that you think a timed rally is somehow not competitive racing.I was talking about the track, not the cars, but since you mentioned those, some of them, yes, should've gone straight to GT7 (albeit the safety cars, racing karts, formula, and 60's-70's race cars, because they are related to racing).
What's cute might I ask?
Ok got you now! We know no details about this new circuit yet! Yea the latest teaser makes it appear as a road course (like Sierra) however we need to remember that a large section of LeMans is technically a road course. To question if it belongs or not is a bit premature at this stage IMO

This is a short departure from the track-based locations that have been released since launch.
@K32 I almost wanna guarantee that at least the next 2 or 3 track updates will be a real-world track or a GT classic track.

Looking like DriveClub isn't a bad thing
Actually from what I could gather in the video, they had a classing system. Also, the event did not seem very amateur and even if it was, it doesn't change the fact that it is a competitive form of racing. What that other guy was showing in another post was a very amateur time rally/road race, the cars were nowhere near the same in performance.
