Stop confusing realism with pessimism.

The fact that you condemn the hope of many GT fans for this update is not pessimistic? If that isn't then I don't know what is.

I was also being realistic and said that Spa could be coming. Again (for the third time now), you choose to fight.

Oh, and @GTFan24, the next time you state people are claiming Spa is coming "hands down", please read their posts carefully. You obviously missed what I just explained to VeeDoubleU.

EDIT: I really wonder what you two will be thinking if it really does happen ("Wow, he was right, I shouldn't have gone all negative like that. Maybe I should apologise."). It is sad to see that you criticise those that are open and hopeful.

If you're wondering what I'll be thinking if it doesn't, I'll be thinking more along the lines of "It's an update, we got a track and cars (and hopefully a proper BoP and new features), I'm happy that PD is at least doing something. Perhaps Spa will come next update."

Polyphony could post 'SPA IS NOT IN THIS UPDATE' and you'd still find several people here on GTPlanet saying 'OH WELL SPA SURELY MUST BE IN THIS UPDATE'

Why? Why would that be strange? The BTCC is holding the Double Diamond at Snetterton today, should we expect that tomorrow too? I dont get this mentality that because a large race is being held close to an update that we should expect that track to appear. We had the same a few weeks back with Pikes Peak. How people read so much into these updates and have such dilusional expectations is beyond me.

Here's what i expect; what we've been shown.

Were Tsukuba, Le Mans and Monza teased before their respective updates?

hy do you guys have to be so pessimistic
Thats rule Number - with PD because many pepole including me always got hyped during the GT5-6 days & always ended up disapointed
(not getting anything in most cases).

This could be the new Group A that mysteriously appeared in one of the Daily Races a long time ago

I don't think we will see a Group A cat. after this update since no apparent Group A cars are going to be introduced. But i really hope race cars like RS500 and Lancia Delta also make it someday.

Did you have anything to base your hype on then that actually came from PD (through and official post or announcement)/was related to the real-world of motorsports or both at the same time?

Are you really trying to say, 'Spa hasn't been teased and hence might be in the update'?

Because, by that logic, you are saying it could be in any update (and because you mention it a lot, you mean 'could' with a likely chance)

Because it either would be teased, and hence, would be in, or wouldn't be teased, and hence you might think it is in.

Sebring hasn't been teased either, hence it could be in GTS tomorrow. Shanghai hasn't been teased either, hence it could be in GTS tomorrow.

Considering how much they have been teasing, surely you would expect them to have teased Spa to get people interested into the game pre-update (to gain credits) and to get people hyped, if Spa was coming?

Are you really trying to not answer my question with a Yes/No answer? Looks like it. You're just answering a question with a question. Please answer directly.

EDIT: Off to watch F1, see you soon.

lol what, you asked a rhetorical question (a question that doesn't need an answer because it isn't needed)

As I put in my post as an edit, considering how much they have been teasing stuff, such as a new fictional track, the new cars including W08 especially, new suit editor etc, if Spa was coming tomorrow, that track would have been teased to gain hype.

Back with Le Mans, Monza, Dragon Trail Gardens and Tsukuba, they did a different kind of promotion, where they didn't promote any track and very little in terms of new cars or features. This month is different because they have been teasing the content. There might be small other updates, but they won't also 'OH HERE'S SPA AS WELL' because that obviously would have been teased along with the new fantasy track.

Upon a really close look at the bridge in the photo I believe Kas has finally given us what many people have been asking for. 1/8,1/4,1/2,and a 1mile drag strip across the bridge. With full tuning in Sport mode:bowdown::rolleyes::lol::cheers:

Not from the website because they waren't nearly as active as now but most of monthly maitenance's (meaning update mostly especialy now with GTS) but 90% of the time nothing was changed/added.

I was being literal. I just wanted a yes or no.

This is just like the other updates, but because it's a new track by PD, it gets special attention, and because Lewis is partnership with GT, so does his car. Logic.

All the people tinfoil hatting the supposed addition of Spa are about to be very very salty lol.
I have a cure for them all

I'm glad it won't be deep forrest or grand valley. Because, to be honest guys, we drove that tracks so many times its time to move on.

The F1 and 787B are closing the circle, every other car after them are just bonus for me
Do any F1 driver compliant they drive Suzuka too much and need to move on ? LOL

I believe that the focus of GTS is to serve as a preparatory game for GT7, which would come in the beginning of the 2019 fiscal year.

The objective is to present new circuits and the new system of categories of cars and competitions. And mainly introduce the new online system.

While working on the backstage in GT7, it is being built on the foundation of GTS.

GT7 would come with all the new features and elements of GTS, plus the classic circuits and some classic single player methodologies.

My opinion.

I'm sure GT7 will leave on the PS4 before the PS5. Financially, it is the best measure for Sony. After all, GTS has already achieved its sales potential, seeing the usual promotions.

I don't believe another GT will come this gen we know the pace PD works, its easier for them and better for us GTS continues getting updates till PS5 and if next gen includes backwards compatibility GTS could get a big relaunch with a graphics updates.
