I was browsing the QM Exiles thread still trying to get what it's all about, and then I came across @Mwerte's car teaser picture. He said he didn't edit anything, but for some reason his pic is the only one I can see a wing on the Ford GT...

Quite frankly, I'm very disappointed that PD will include a GT3-spec car from 2004. It's just really out of place for my personal taste just like Group C in Gr. 1, and probably aerodynamically/mechanically outdated compared to the others. Maybe, maybe BoP can still try to fix it since it's not as long a shot as Group C in Gr. 1, but it'll probably end up like iRacing's case where no one uses the car because it's out of place already

I wouldn't count the Ford GT out just yet. The version we're most likely getting is the one from GT5, which would be 2009+ in terms of racing technology. As for real life, the Ford GT GT3 was entered into the Dubai 24H by Lambda Performance this year, the 2018 Dubai 24H.

That's the livery I'm recreating the minute the update drops. :)

Well , technically the Ford GT LM Spec II isn't a GT3 , rather a GT2-GT1 car from that era. I don't really think that there will be a problem with balancing the car , it was already very well matched with the GT3s on GT6. Also , the GT by Citroen is a 2009 car but it ain't slow by any means

@LongbowX

So my previous point, (and the 14 people who agreed with my post reply to you), still stands.

I'd quite like to try I-Racing on PC for example. But again, I don't have the hardware for that. If I was really really into it, i'd buy it and then be more involved with it's community. If I didn't, I wouldn't....
Nonsense. He may not be buying on principle, voting with his dollars. You make it sound like a drug addiction, and pose the false logic that the definition of someone who is really into the game MUST purchase it (at all costs). Maybe he is showing restraint, conserving money, whatever. YOUR definition of something subjective is meaningless to anyone but you. And it does not make it illogical for him to post here.
Stop the tribalistic thinking. If someone elses choices about their hobby bother you this much, maybe the issue is with you.

Not a big deal but we already have a thread on this exact subject that's almost 3000 posts in. It would've been better to just link the news article to that thread instead of make a completely new one.

Just saying

Watkins Glen/Laguna Seca/Sonoma Raceway/Road America/Sebring/Virginia International Raceway/Silverstone/Fuji/ Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL/Literally any other track > Spa.

I know you're not trying to troll but you seem to be trolling, let's try to stay level headed. You're educated after all.
