Thing is, Driving Park Kyoto has parts of its layouts that weren't obstructed by anything else other then that little hill (which was a very short walk between the two distance wise) and their start/finish straights are far apart from one another. Both Seaside and Gardenside layouts of Dragon Trail have straightaways AND Grandstands across from each other in addition to a massive parking lot smack in between (a problem, and obstruction, that Driving park did not have). Connecting it the same way wouldn't work from what I'm seeing.

One thing to remember is tat this is a GAME i.e. not real world! If they are planning on combining the two and there is an 'obstruction' where they want to join them the could easily just delete it or move it!

The tracks and environments would be laid out in theory at conception, so I think if PD was designing with the intention to integrate they wouldn't have placed an obstruction there in the first place

I just cant see daily races going well there with the chicanes.

And because the track is so long, they'll probably use it as infrequently as they do N24.

I hope Le Mans isn't coming. I want tracks which we will see often enough to help shake up the schedule, and will offer clean racing
I heard ya, it is just not that entertaining of a track to me. So many other tracks I would like to see first.

After the Bug/Maggiolino and the Atenza (RCZ and 4C also) in gr 3 ..all is licit :D;)

IR

But all those cars are just made up for the game. You do realise the Megane Trophy V6 is real, right? When a real car exists you don't just change all its specs just cos yet another person wants every single car possible to be in Gr3? And dont say they could use BOP, that would be ludicrous. And again, as with Gr4 - the aero on the Meganes is far too extreme for any of those racing categories. If I remember right, its aero package was loosely based upon DTM spec (Don't go calling Gr2 either!!!) But the engine was unique to those cars as was the chassis. It fits into one category only: one make races, end of.

Groups in GT Sport are totally fake. So this Megane Trophy could fit into Gr.3...

I think that the new Clio could be a Cup version => Gr.4

Why is there such an obsession with getting Le Mans? I understand the history of it of course, but it's a boring track to drive. Straights long enough to sticky tape the trigger down and go get yourself a cup of coffee...

In my opinion IF we were getting a new track something like Spa would be a lot better. Would also love some of the classic GT fantasy tracks.
Spa is rubbish now. There is run off tarmac on practically all the corners. That will be wonderful online.

I'm still not convinced of the Clio. The front looks too busy next to the Clio grill. It's as if the front fascia is further out. Yes, I understand part of the bonnet is not visible and shadows, light and such.

Just seems like an Opel. Opel TCR. There aren't any bonnet clips or vents, but the frill where the emblem is, doesn't come out the much on the current Clio.

The characteristics of many "invented" cars in gr.4 (VEYRON) or gr.3 (4C, RCZ, ATENZA , BEETLE .. etc ) are fictional .. so they can do the same thing with the megane trophy ..

In order to give "visibility" to a specific CAR MAKER/BRAND they can do everything they want ..

The dark/black parts of the picture could hide some characteristic parts of the silhouette ...

I'll be happy to see these in future updates X)

Right, I will repeat again for those with difficulties. The cars you have mentioned and the other guy have mentioned are all fictitious so they (PD) can do what they want with them. When it comes to real race cars (the Megane V6 is very much a real car) they are faithful to it's specs and won't stick it into any old category just to satisfy the wishes of more dreamers! You all need to accept that and realise the difference between a real race car and a fantasy race cars boundaries.

I think we might in fact get the Pontiac Firebird in the future, but not that generation. I think we will get the 1977 Trans AM from GT6 since it would be more easy to include in GTS. I always loved the 1977/78 Firebird Trans AM. My father still has one in Martinique Blue that he bought brand new in 1978.

Is that still in it's original condition?
If so it has been very well taken care of.

Just like the Monza short cut track (and oval) or Tsukuba's different variations? :D I'd like to see it but I highly doubt it'll be included :boggled:
Deep forest am guessing for the track...On this upcoming update .

OMG Group C  I hope we get the Mazda 787B eventually, I want to hear its glorious 4-rotor rotary engine redlining down long straights :embarrassed:
Even if It was never officially confirmed, the LM55 should be powered by the same engine:

"Decent" at best (if we want to be quite generous)

No sign of the Cup car rear wing though. Hmmm.
True. Unless It's completely hidden, it can't be the R.S. 16 or a Cup variant.

This pic is not his car but it looks extremely close in terms of condition. Yes it is original condition with 56,000 miles. However, he now is having serious cam problems so he is considering rebuilding the motor. Its the Pontiac 400.

Still for a car that is 40 years old and only has 56,000 original miles on it is extremely rare. Engines were not as reliable back then as they are now so having a total rebuild of the motor is not uncommon. As long as he keeps it all original the price will only keep going up.

Own Up ! 💡 How many of us would love one of these in the Game.👍👍👍 Especially in Black & Gold like Smokey & the Bandit !!

Agreed! But it may be an afterthought to merge the two. From memory, and I’m happy to be proven wrong, there was no indications that Kyoto was going to be merged.

I do love this track, but with BOP enabled there will be 15 or so cars all together headed for the Mulsanne Corner.A dive bombers dream.I will be there parked with my beer watching the show:cheers:
