Its brilliant that we are going to get more cars - especially those LMPs. As for tracks, we'll most likely see Le Mans, Spa or even Deep Forest.

We'll most likely will also see a variation of Dragon Trail - Gardens. If you look at this snapshot, you'll see that it will connect to the last corner.

Can't wait to drive little Fiat on the Ring experiencing it's struggle on the uphill sections and liberating sensation on downhills.

Love hotlapping LMP's on LeMans - would be great to have it. I honestly don't see any signs of such thing happening though - don't see those LMP's as a sign.

I hope to be wrong!

More cars is great but we need better tracks. Those Dragon Trail atrocities in the last update? No thanks.
I recently logged my final day for the achievements and I haven't been on it for two weeks now. Just no decent fun tracks to race in just because it was fun to do.
No championship races either which were always a big part of previous incarnations.

While GT Legends was a great game, I simply have to load up Assetto Corsa if I want to enjoy Cobra, Miura, Countach, P4 and many other perfectly recreated classics. All available straight away without the need for mindless grinding sessions.
True, I have bought a copy of the ultimate edition and while I haven't been playing it a lot so far, I had a very fun session with the Porsche 935. Loads of power and weak brakes :D.

I enjoy the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and it's road course too so I would be very happy with that. With only one US track in GTS we definitely need another one.
Being that the road course changed since it was in GT6 they'd have to remodel it which takes time.

That's true but it all depends on how long they have been working on it..if at all.
I wonder if any of the other racing games have the new changes in it? I don't have much free time anymore so GTS is the only game I play. I would really like to run on the new course.

I think it is a M8 GTE, next BMW GT3 car will be earliest in 2020 :).

Edit.

And we will see this BMW M8 GTE in this year's Le Mans :D:

BMW will make a works entry in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) with the new BMW M8 GTE from the 2018 season. The highlight of the championship is the 24-hour race in Le Mans, which will start on 16th June 2018.

...wondering how long does a license last for PD?

There were many good tracks and cars in GT5/6, that weren't in previous games... Especially in GT6...

Also I cannot understand why they didn't include in house tracks... for those at least they don't need licensing and there are so many good tracks... I won't count city tracks like Rome, Madrid, London, R246 etc. those are real locations, maybe they have some issues for those...

...and one track that I'd like to see is Top Gear, not that it is anything special or something, it is one of the tracks that soon won't exist anymore, we had it in GT5, it would be sad that people forget it...

Cheers...
