You are basing your argument on the assumption that the cars are represented very realisticly in GTS which I don't agree with.

Apart from the shortfalls of GTS's physics engine, those Gr. C cars had 3 pedals, an H-pattern shifter, no power steering, no electronic driving aids and they will be driven with paddles, ABS and CSA in sport mode.

iirc from one of his top 10 replays, no he doesn't

He might not be the guy I saw back then, but he could've also been one of the people who was in the top 5 in a Yamagiwa race that didn't cut the chicanes

Yes, although I remember watching many drivers using CSA to their advantage (because in some cases (depending on the car) it's faster). I believe he's more than ready to go without it.

This is almost exactly what is happening to Nik, just the other way around.

As I already said, a minimum age of 18 is a pretty standard one for legal reasons. If I had to guess, it has to do with legally binding contracts.

When I went to the Silverstone Porsche Experience Centre, we were required to sign a few documents. There was a strict 18-year-old policy there; an influencer under that was not allowed to drive at all, and could only be a passenger.

Just like classic Gran Turismo. It is the SAME car but just a different year. They both are Renault Sport Clio R.S. 220 EDC Trophy. The one already in the game is a '15 and the new one is a '16! I guess PD didn't need to use any effort in making a new model XD

I think you missed the point of my post. I wanted to say that using the same input devices and driving aids on both LMP and Gr. C cars will put them closer together performance-wise.

I am using ABS and (most of the time) TCS 2 in sport mode and I don't feel like a higher or lower being because of it .

I can't find downforce figures in that website. If you can direct me to some it'd be great.

I want to state though that today's LMP1s have vastly superior downforce levels in comparison to Group C. I don't think they're anywhere near at all.

Renault Clio is the new Mazda mx5/Skyline/etc . Useless multi-versions...

If you look at the screenshot of the FIA result screen you‘ll notice that the secondary region probably narrows down the location of the player even more. So you‘re not only a US player but more specific a California player i.e.

They didn't think "Hang on, isn't he a bit young for a Super License?", and they let him drive F1, only to introduce the rule afterwards. This is a prime example of turning a blind eye. What I am suggesting is exactly what you're talking about.

Nice figures. I didn't think they'd produce so little downforce

I dug up a bit more info on the Dome since I didn't know it, and I think this isn't the best example to show I guess? It only set a 3:38 at Le Mans on test day

Yes but thats exactly what makes Le Mans so great! Only the cars that drive over the finish line after 24 hours and with longest distance actually win the race... Unlike F1

I imagine there will be many lobbies opening up for LMP1 / GTE multiclass racing, using only the modern cars that race in real life. (manually enforcing BoP):

LMP1:
- Porsche 919 Hybrid
- Audi R18 e-tron
- Toyota TS050 Hybrid
- GT-R LM Nismo

GTE (AM/PRO):
- Corvette C7 Gr.3
- Vantage V12 GT3 (closest thing to the GTE version would be making a livery)
- 458 Italia GT3 2013 (also making a livery to imitate the 488 GTE)
- Viper SRT GT3-R
- Porsche 911 RSR

And maybe the Mustang Gr.3 (bit of a stretch and it's too op on the straights ) to replace the GT.

EDIT: If this fails there's always the option of imitating the GT3 Michelin Le Mans Cup (Gr.3 BoP, only real-life participant cars and look alikes)

With this update they MUST let us enable BoP for every class too.
Something like: BoP on (for the class you are) and BoP all on (for everyone who uses a different class)
