Here's hoping the S2K is a 2L. The 2.2 doesn't rev as high. Might be more stable, but I need that 9500rpm fuel cut!

As an AP1 owner myself, I wish it to be a 2005 AP2 JDM version with the F20C engine. Best of both worlds

The Nissan Slvia K’s S13 and Honda S2000 appear to be the returning premium cars. I’ve been waiting for both!

The rest are more difficult to decipher... Early Mitsubishi GTO is probably a safe bet, but personally I’ve been hoping for the rare 1999 Twin Turbo. Nonetheless a welcome and overdue addition assuming it indeed is the Mitsubishi GTO.

Subaru Impreza definitely seems possible, but a 1990s WRX STi sedan doesn’t seem obvious as the recently added 22B coupe is relatively close. Then again, this generation of the Impreza is a classic in GT history.

The car in the middle could be anything, especially because PD has established a pattern of adding a completely new car with every content update. Something retro JDM is my best guess so far.

Looks like we’re in for a stellar update here.

There's something about the middle car that's annoying me, and that makes me think it can't be a Levin.
The lighting makes it look like the front is angled backwards below the leading edge, with a prominent bar across the centre of the grille. Just behind the headlamps, in front of the wheel, (unless my eyes trick me) looks to be a circular orange indicator.
Somewhere deep in my head was a twinge of recognition of these details, but I can't for the life of me (after an hour of searching) work out what it is. It's driving me mad. If it turns out to be an AE86 Levin that just looks weird under the shadowy lighting model I'll cry.

I am an unashamed JDM fan and I think the ultimate JDM mashup is say a SilEighty with an RB26... which exists here.

However if given the choice I'd rather have a 180 or a SilEighty in the game over a plain S13 which I think is one of the worst representations of the boxy late 80's early 90's aesthetic.

Now that iron mask DR30... yeah.

Agreed. Whatever it is has to at least have similar proportions (height and length) to the AE86 and the like. I'd thought it could be a Mitsubishi Cordia but that also doesn't fit. I don't think the nose fits the AE86 Levin though...

To be honest nice to see factory standard S2000 aside from Amuse version. The car is pretty much important as you guys might remember it is featured as GT2 cover car and I can't wait to see the remake of it in GTS! And nice to see the GTO/3000GT as well, still waiting for more Mitsubishi line up to fill GTS car list in near future 👍

If you're going to make a car look bad, at least make the comparision equal. Here's the S13 Coupe modified like the car you posted.

Well the S13 not a bad choice I think. I can see PD will added more Silvia versions after S13. Myself waiting for the S15 and SilEighty but the later one could have been standard 180SX instead but it is fine if that the case I guess. 240RS also interesting choice would be cool to see that car in GTS.
