As a championship organizer, I do support Aderrrm here. 👍
I know the feeling when you put down so much work to create a funseries, and all you get back is complaints that "You use the fastest car" bla bla bla..
Someone that actually puts down the time rwuired to create a championship is not the kind of driver that does that, then state that he'll be driving the least popular car. And despite all these actions, still gets jumped on. 👎
No, you shuld not insult members. But members that act childish, jump on the organizer should not have a seat in a championship either. I think people need to respect the amunt of time it takes to manage a series. Sure, you can manage a casual series, and "just race".. But for the more complicated and detailed series, the creator most often have good intentions, and also puts down a lot of work. And when you put down that amount of time for someone you have never even met, and get NOTHING for it but bs over the chat or in the forums, I do understand the reaction.
If he don't like the way the cars are set up, please, creatre an own series and may he manage it in the best way he knows how.
MÜLE_9242;5495786Don't get me wrong guys. I have no beef with how he's running the series. In fact, I think it's great. The only problem I had is with what he said to Johny. One of the things I hate the most on here is with people saying stuff like "lol it's just because i'm faster than you" or "lol you're too slow," trying to put people down.
I just want to race, and not get all serious.
I am well aware that it takes alot of work, however when someone's removing 30 hp after the first CHAMPIONSHIP race that does not exactly inspire confidence as to how accurate that testing was.
How much time have you put down in helping Aderrm out with testing?
How many hours have Aderrm been testing?
How much work hours as a whole have he put down?
Ok, so if cars are not equal, post in the thread that you think that X car needs to be tested more, not jump on him like it was his intention to pick the fastest car. Especially not when the organizer said:
I WILL DRIVE THE LEAST POPULAR CAR.
Obviously, he did not know which car that would be, and it would most likely be one of the slower cars.
I don't say that you (or anyome else) can't have opinions. On the contrary, I'd say that's exactly what an organizer wants.
The more help and feeback he gets, the better the level of the cars will be.
A discussion is always welcomed, a statement that aims to point out the creator as a cheater because he performs good is a completely different thing.
If I had the opinion that 1 car is to fast, I'd simply just post here or PM Aderrm about it, and I'm sure the thread would have stayed a lot more plesent. And it would also make the field more leveled as a result. Something wrong with that?
Well, I'm not in here to argue.
I'm simply trying to say that IF anyone thinks that the cars are not equal, just post in the thread in a civiliced mannor.
And if you're (or anyone else) not able to, just leave the series.
* I'm not saying that YOU should leave, or that YOU did something wrong.
I'm talking (typing) in general. 👍
👍I think the drama should end now and we should just race and have fun. I came here to have fun, right? Didn't we all?
From my point of veiw, it was the ones who did not understand why he posted what he posted that started the argument.
An organizer is a human. If he gets jumped on, he will bite back. In a forum or IRL, it works in the same way.
I know Aderrm quite well from the forums, and I have never seen him posting something insulting, not even in bigger arguments.
If someone jumps on him, I'd say it's an expected reaction.
The best way to stay out of arguments/fights is to keep discussions at a good level. Use arguments that are aimed at the problem, not at the human. Simple. No?
👍
Look, folks. We've only had one race and it will likely take a full season to see how to appropriately balance the cars so that no one will have a distinct advantage throughout the series. Besides, if we keep this up, we'll attract the attention of the mods and nobody is going to like that. If we feel strongly about something, a PM would be much better.
So basically what you're saying is that he was not in the wrong?
Yep.
HAH okay. I'll make sure never to leave one of your rooms without announcing my departure. Otherwise I may risk getting told off for "rage quitting."
👍
After all, helping the host out with a short message in the chat before leaving is not that much to ask for.
If you ever run a series of your own, you'll understand why I think so.
It was a practice room and people do have lives. If it was an official race room and you were leaving before or during a race then I could understand. But I'm sorry, asking someone to announce their reasons for leaving an unofficial practice room is a bit ridiculous.
We have different opinions. I respect yours.
I don't want to stop someone from leaving. Is it hard to type a 30 second message in the chat before doing so?
Why not try to help the host/Organizer a bit?
Everybody seems to think that they can show up and leave as it pleases.
Not respecting the effort from the organizer..
I think that's bad manners.

Lol. Wow.
MÜLE_9242;5496177I also run my own series, and if people leave, they leave. There's nothing I can do to stop them. Especially when it isn't an official race or quali room. I'm not going to call them out in the thread, and assume why they left.
Its all on the first page of the thread Paginas!
Sounds like you have got your day sorted. I am just stuck in work atm waiting to get home to GT5!
