maybe this have been asked before but... if u reduce the hight at front and increase it at the back, can u then see from the outside that the car is lower at the front?

hi all have a few questions.... is it possible to tune hist. cars like the beetle?
how does the used car shop works....? automatically refreshing... etc
can u install new wheels on all cars?

Yes you can test your cars in the GT mode, also changes made to the cars settings can have a visual impact on the car like changing the camber and toe of the wheels or increasing the ride height, it did it in GT3 too so why anyone would've though PD would change it I don't know, but it does show in GT4 like it did in GT3.

Damn ! The cars in arcade mode depends on whether they had been in your garage, no matter what your completion status is (I already had it rushed to 100%).

Now taking the time to buy all those used cars to increase the count of the available cars in arcade mode. Currently made it to 510+245 (Manufacturer selections+Historical selections) in the arcade car select screen, still some way to go.

Don't know, I don't have numbers, my mind is a mess on the counts these whole period of time (while playing GT4) unless there is a number displayed in the game, like the completion % and the # of cars in arcade mode car selection screen.

I hope so. 510+245 = 755 if you were wondering, you must have most of them now surly

You know, the constant matching of the refreshed used car list in the game and my list in the gallery for taking screenshot of the updates had already drained a lot of concentration from me. Ha ha ha !

I don't want to count already, may be until I finished adding all to the arcade. :)

edit: please ignore the 2nd number, the first number is the total (i.e. 510), still a long way off now.

If you sell then, do they remain in arcade?

I've been having a search, and can't find what I'm after sooo,

In GT4 Prologue, there was NO setup at all for the dual shock controller, you had to use the predefined buttons, or a wheel, and that was it!

In GT4 do we have a proper control setup like in GT3/GT3 Concept, where we define each required action?

I like to use the left joystick for steering and throttle/braking, and this simply isn't possible or useable in GT4 Prologue with the steering and throttle/braking being on seperate joysticks.

Still gonna get a DFP, just that it's nice when you go to a mates house or want a quick blast in the living room without setting up the wheel to have a nice dual shock setup.

Lets hope control setup hasn't been dropped like so many other small usefull features so far :dunce:

Yep, the strip in Vegas is 400m and you can do a 400m run at the test course too.

Maskrider since you have completed the game can you please show us or post the ending videos for GT4 I dont mind the spoiler the more the better. 👍

Quote from my other post.

When you completed Extreme Hall (or just Professional ? forgot already), you can already view the Ending movie and an entry for it will be added to the main menu. I indeed have it recorded and encoded, but it is nothing special than a real-life helicopter camera view of a car driving in Nurburgring with some scrolling credits.

I've got a question, I didn't really care about a damage model or something (GT4 is just perfect to me) but now I've heard about a "ROLLCAGE"
question: Can someone tell what the point is of a "rollcage" in a "damageless" game

Body stiffness and integrity. Might not have a visible effect, but I imagine it would add to overall stiffness in any car you put it in and would reflect in the handling performance of your car.

Then again, it could just be attention to detail on PDs part...

Thanks, I'm sure this is going to be an AWSOME game (already knew that ofcourse since 2004) especially when even a rollcage affects the handling, although thats really what you expect for such a SUPER GAME! 👍

not sure if this is answered earlier, but I can honestly say that if that happened, it's impossible to find.. so here we go: is it possible to tune the '49 Beetle..? I know there's no way to modify it with a wing, so just wanted to know if I can look forward to 200 bhp in that turtle...
thanks...

When I went to see a DTM race the most impressive sound was the switching down gears before entering a corner 👍
So how is are the sounds of the car? I really like it when you can clearly hear a bang or something when switching gears like in real racecars :)

this may be a stupid question but did the nursnow track make it into the game as it isnt on any of the track lists and i rember watching it in a video a while back
