They don't even bother giving the Mazda 6 Concept or Nissan CUBE a drivetrain at all.
So feel lucky that they gave the Audi TT a merely incorrect drivetrain.
And would you prefer to get wrong information ?!!!
And I'm guessing you believe every other car stat published in GT games?
Besides, it's not wrong - you can fit a VCD to the Audi TT. Find me an FWD or RWD car you can fit a VCD to in GT4.

OK I know there is no Toyota ,Nissan, Dodge,Ford, ..., or even Mitsubishi in real life ,that were all fake or maybe mostly. it's all on GT4.
I wounder how did PD invent these names?????
I didn't say you are wrong ,I said ( would you prefer to get wrong information ?!!!)
why I'm asking this, because you said (feel lucky that they gave the Audi TT a merely incorrect drivetrain.)
Oooooooooo-kay then.
Almost all information in all Gran Turismo games is "merely incorrect". That was my point. This was backed up, shortly after, by Danachronism's post about the incorrect weights for the two Opel Speedsters/Vauxhall VX220s.
My previous point was to highlight the many cars in GT that are missing whole hosts of data - drivetrain data, dimensions, power, torque, value, country of origin - with the message that picking up on one car for incorrect data and whining on about it incessantly is quite futile.
Further to this, the data highlighted is clearly not wrong. There is no non-4WD car in GT4 that can be fitted with a VCD. The Audi TT can be fitted with a VCD and so is 4WD, as described.
The data is irrelevant. Just. Drive. The. Damn. Things.
and I will consider GT4 will be cars showroom.
I know English is not your first language, but what did you just say?
Right, because after all, car manufacturers NEVER release incorrect specs for their cars, and showrooms always have accurate specific data on all their cars.I hope next time they give us correct informations.
and I will consider GT4 will be cars showroom.
Ok, new question.
What color Mercury Cougar XR-7 did you receive when you achieved your S lisense?
I'm trying to get one in caspain blue but all I keep winning is turquoise, polar white and fawn.
I must have run the final test 6 times last night, (won gold once) only to have to hit reset in order to try again.
On a good note, its becomming second nature to run the ring.
But I still want my caspain blue zero miles on the Odometer Cougar.
Hey, those sarcasm tags are right protected... I demand royalties!

Well the Opel Speedster Turbo weight isn't that far off, according to Toronado, but the Volvo is 500Kg heavier than it is. Well no game is perfect.Almost all information in all Gran Turismo games is "merely incorrect". That was my point. Also they got an Intercooler for the Beetle RSi, even with NA equipped, so the Audi must be a FF, just a mistake with PD.
How can PD struggle so much with getting the names accurate?
Geez... where to begin...Quite a noticeable mistake is the car names, some of them have the same word twice but in capitals the 2nd time (e.g. Subaru SUBARU 360, Honda HONDA S2000), or they have some words in capitals, or they say 'race car' or 'rally car' at the end when they shouldn't, or the chassis codes are in brackets at the end rather than wherever they should be. How can PD struggle so much with getting the names accurate?
Geez... where to begin...
I think Diego pretty much said it best, especially about those whining and nit-picking about small meaningless details, but I'd change Diego's last sentence to:
"How can some people struggle so much with getting their facts right and instead often over exaggerate everything... especially someone who is a Guides Editor for GTP?"
BTW: I'm still waiting for your list of those 360 or more car names in GT4 that you claim couldn't be more inaccurate, and the 200 or more Japanese cars that you claim are the exact same car just made in a different year with a different spoiler or whatever.
Or at the very least begin to acknowledge the mistakes you have made, and stop exaggerating so much.
Hmm?[/SARCASM]©
You forgot that my friend
Hmm?
I'm sure what D-N said wasn't sarcasm.
The way I think about it is this: if you were given the job to list every detail of 700+ cars in the game perfectly, of which some cars are quite rare or obscure so hardly information exists about them, how would you do? Yes, they do have a "team" of people, but I seriously doubt due to the scale of the job you would get every single detail right. Considering how perfect they are aiming to make things, they must be truly unintentional mistakes, or are there for a reason.
Yeeesh. Get over it.
Exactly.Hmm?

I guess you didn't understand my first response.well personally I will say ,don't give these cars specifications if you don't know about these (like Mazda6 concept and Nissan CUBE as members say).beside they give us incorrect specifications .
Exactly.
The post I made before it was sarcastic of course... thus I tagged it appropriately.
👍
I guess you didn't understand my first response.
The point I was making is that car manufacturers, showroom dealers, car reviewers, and other game developers all post inaccurate specs, some more often then others... people make mistakes, and sometimes it's the mistake of the person supplying the information. For instance, how do you know all the "spec errors" that GT4 were made by PD and they didn't get bad information from the manufacturers for some, perhaps many of those "errors"?
That was also my point about the fact that the only way any game could be 100% accurate would be if they took apart every single car and tested every single car for every possible performance criteria. Clearly they do not, and must often rely on the information that they are given.
BTW: This also may not result in 100% accurate specs, because as anyone who follows the auto industry knows, that not only do some same model year cars get spec altering changes, thus two cars of the same model and same production year will have differences.
Are there typos, mistakes, oversights in the GT4 - yes, absolutely, and again, completely understandable considering the massive amount of data... and to expect, even demand 100% accuracy is in my opinion, totally absurd... thus the inspiration for my sarcastic post.
It should be VERY obvious it isn't, but do you see a ([/SARCASM]©) in or at the end of that last post?Is this ([/SARCASM]©) again?💡
I hate to say this, but I'm finding your last few posts pretty useless even when you are not replying to sarcasm, so I don't see how it would even make a difference.because it will be useless if I wrote any thing .

Perhaps we should just chalk this recent discussion down as a "Lost in Translation" moment.
Correct... if they were relying on the stats the manufacturers published when those cars were released... and that they got all their specs in the exact same manor. This only points out the fact that manufacturers, either on purpose or by mistake, also publish and or pass on inaccurate specs. If PD relied on manufacturer stats, all the 1991-2002 Japanese cars would have 276hp maximum.
