It's not all the cars, just all we know about. So if we knew about a car it would be on, if its not on we don't know.

You could easily start a "SHIRAKAWA Akira's Master Car List", based on your excellent translation which contains all but some of the confirmed cars.

I've seen the confirmed total car count bump in the last two weeks (when the car list from the scanned demo booklet came out) from 59X to 602 and the unconfirmed ones' (cars in red) from 9X to 99. I think many people would have liked to know what was being added. And no, it was not my imagination.

Don't think you're the only one who can make a GT4 car list. If it wasn't for users submissions it wouldn't be that complete or long.

The359 has a point. You guys are being unreasonable in asking him to remember exactly which cars he added in the last few weeks. Especially since a lot of them would just be variations of previously confirmed cars.

What isn't an unreasonable request is if future updates contain the NEW tag.

I also understand why you might get mad sometimes. Just about every other post is asking if some car is in or not and after 135 pages I'm sure that's gotten old by now.

ALL of those are from the GT4 Demo list. If you expect me to hunt down all the cars I added from there (and it's quite a few dozen) and put icons on them, then you might as well just ask me to part the Red Sea...

And if you expect me to give you "gentle" responses when you slag me for not giving you an answer yes or no BECAUSE I'M NOT HERE 24/7, then you're barking up the wrong tree here. ESPECIALLY when you slag my list and proclaim that you should make a better one just because I have yet to put some silly little icons on it.

If you want to make your own list, be my guest, but make your own thread.

Correct me if I am wrong but in my opinion the Car list thread was started in order for people to see which cars had been confirmed seen in magazines or tested etc. Basically so people have a basic idea of what cars are in the game. So then what is the problem if cars have been added 3 months ago or yesterday? Does it make a difference if there isn’t a NEW icon implemented? Fundamentally you are looking at this thread to see the list of cars it doesn’t matter when they were added.

Furthermore if you want to make ANOTHER car list then go ahead and do it and stop talking about it. You will probably get flamed for making a near identical list which is futile.

From what I can see the359 had put in a lot of effort and it doesn’t make a slight difference when the cars where added as there all there anyway. You people need to stop moaning; if you are that bothered wait a damn few months till the actual game comes out, as when that eventually does happen we all know this list will probably be scrapped and replaced with an official car list.

Yes, it doesn't take a mod to realise this is ridiculous, if you guys want to slag off the359, find other ways to do it in one of the most popular threads, which is all credit to the359. It;s just a shame so much crap goes on in this thread, like people asking dumb questions about certain cars, and it's very easy to see how he gets so wound up. So please people, cool it, or you'll be banned. Simple as that.

Whoa! I like that list, and so does probably a good deal of other people too! So don't get The359 to make reality out of his threat! There's a great deal of work behind it, something we as a community have helped him put together.

As for those "new"-icons, I don't see any reason to put them in the list next to recently added cars just to make them easier to see. It'll be too much work for very little results. I know I wouldn't do it. Adding "new" next to new or restatused cars while updating the list, however, that's a different matter. And that's The359's decision to make.
