@ Amar! First of all thanks for the info.

There is still one question I have. On the official sony website they said people could put frontspoilers at the car. The Japanese version only has rear spoilers. Is it true that we can put on frontspoilers and if so, could you post a pic?

Best regards,
doblocruiser 👍

Darts: As a big GT Enthusiast I would honestly rather get GT4 sooner and without those cars than wait so long and get improved version ;). But now, so close to the release, the waiting seems almost worthwhile ... :D

Seeing the impriovements i say, i find it a good option to wait.
PS; Do you now if you have to get the Action Replay to get the Datel Max drive to work, or is the Max drive only also working???

Very nice work dude! I now think that that spirra might just be the first car I'm gonna buy with my gt3 credit bonus, it looks awesome!.....is the car any good?

Anyway, your info is very much apreciated!

Amar have you tried that 550 hp Golf yet? If you have, tell me is it fast or is it a good car to start with? It would be a good car to start with and it only costs about 30,000 cr.

Yes, but then they have alreday finished the game, so its not much fun, and they have to pay twice, so whos laughing?.
We get the improved version right from the moment we start playing GT4

Right....he..he..he 👍 :dopey: :dopey:

so how much money will I have all together when I start GT4 with my GT3 credits included?

This has been covered (I believe even in this thread). If I'm not totally mistaken you will start with 110,000 Cr if you use your GT3 save. (An additional 100,000 Cr to your normal 10,000)

Cheers!

EDIT: Beat me to it.. :)

Since the savegames of GT3 and GT4: Prologue does something for GT4, what are the chances that GT Concept does anything for this game? :dopey:
Very unliky I know, but did someone actually try it? 💡

GT concept savegame gives you 10,000,000 cr for a Gran Turismo 3 save.

Do I need 100% in GT3 to get this or just 100,000 cr on my GT3 account. Im only on 70% but I have 978,xxx,xxx credits in gt3

You need just the money and I have about a billion in gt3 too. I hope that X-Port is compatible with GT4 too :)

I did actually know that, but why couldn't it be used for GT4 too? I mean GT3 is older then GT Concept, so why GT3 and GT4 Prologue savegames can be used, but no GT Concept save? (Not that we must receive 10 million for the savegame, but maybe another 10,000 or 100,000 credits?)

And yes, I'm aware that the GT Concept game wasn't released in NA, but neither did GT4: Prologue...

Any thoughts of that?

Yea, I know what you mean. But I don't have any ideas of that.

I have heard that X-Port workd perfectly with GT4! A X-Port consists of 2 discs and a usb cable. One disc goes in the PS2, the other in your PC and the USB cable runs between them. It enables you to backup your memory card onto your PC but it also enables you to download saved games, so for example you could download a 100% completetion file for GT3 if you wanted, or one with all golds on the licenses andf so on. When used in conjunction with the Marks program you can edit your garage in GT3 and in GT4, this enables you to swop the cars in your garage for any car in the game including hidden cars which cant be unlocked without it. You can also create hybrids by adjusting the setting files of the cars, so you could give a mini 5000bhp and stupid amount of downforce!

Meh the best part of Gran Turismo is starting out with nothing and working your way up. Yea it'd be nice to start out with 110,000 credits, but I am not using my GT3 save because I wanna enjoy the beginning of the game.

But to each his own, I bet you could buy a REALLY nice car for around 50k, and drop another 60k into it and own almost everything for a while.

I'm gonna import the 100k from GT3, but rather than sinking it in one car to compete with, I'm gonna buy a variety of stock cars to start the game with. That way all the races are still just as difficult but I have various cars to drive.

I agree with you.
First reason: I dont have 100% in GT3 (need to drive 5 or 6 races from F1 championship to get 100%, but in my opinion these F1-races are really broing)
Second reason: I dont want a Viper as a first car, I want a slow car so I can race them with more fun. It is possible ofcourse to upgrade your amount of money and then still buy a slow car, but you still have 100,000 left and it's just not right in my opinion :/

Hey, thats the same plan i have:

Garaiya (MR)
350Z (FR)
Evo VIII(4WD)

Amar can you please tell us if there will pop up a "i am now saving screen" if the game is saving?
Just small icon flashing in upright corner for few seconds.

With GT3 save you start with 110,000 credits (at least 37% complete save will do and probably any save). With Prologue save you get first two license-tests passed, but you still have to drive them to get prize cars and medals.
Concept save won't do anything (got it on same card).

Some prize cars are changed from japanese version.

What I am curious about the most, is who does the voice for the car testing. I've heard that on the Asian version, there was a person talking about the car you were testing out, and what things does he/she say?? This stickied in my mind from the moment I heard it and remembered it untill now. It's a VERY FUNNY FEATURE, so PLEASSE TELL ME??👍:sly:

Has anyone also heard of this before??

And I thought I had heard or read or something.........about there are Morgan's in the game, I just have it in my mind for some reason cause I don't see it in the Asian version car list, somebody knows if this car is in PAL or the NA version, or does somebody even know WHY I've got this in my mind, cause I'm SURE that it has been mentioned in...........well at LEAST GTPlanet??
