spudboyjust a quickie related to this post, i have a scph-30003 ps2, on my browser screen i can enter the ps driver and i can change the playstation driver disc speed to fast from normal and texture mapping from normal to smooth, when the ps2 is turned off and on again the next day it is back to normal? what is the point of having this in?????????
Mil6esThat option is only for PS1 games that let them run abit smoother than normal, dosn't affect PS2 games
I've got the same PS2 aswel and GTP ran on it so i would think GT4 would run on it aswel

Sadly, there is no Endurance save - only option to change A-Spec into B. For all non-hardcore it is a sad one. Checked it on Nurb 24Hrs.
Oh no, is that the only way to be able to get the Model T? 👎smellysocks12I don't like the idea that PAL is even harder with license tests. I never got all gold in GT2 for any license except the A and B ones..... so I'm afraid I'll never be able to drive a Ford T model.
smellysocks12THe 24h endurances will probably the only ones in which I'll be using B-spec a lot.
smellysocks12I love to drive myself, but 24 hours is ridiculous. That endurance with 90 laps on Laguna Seca in GT2 was horrible already to me. It's cool once you finished it but when you're @ lap 75 I'm a person to be like... come on... still not there yet... sheeesh. After 30 laps on Laguna Seca I pretty much get tired of it already and then still 60 to go. Nurburgring could be more interesting I guess, but 24 hours is still awefully long.
Good point. For instance, a power failure in the 23rd hour of a 24h race would definitley suck big time.amp88I'm not a fan of not being able to save during the endurance races myself. My biggest worry is that if the console crashes after 23 hours I'd feel a bit annoyed...
Since GT4 isn't an M$ product the chances of that happening are pretty low (hopefully), but you never know
you got me beat by 4Hours, My maximum for any race will be 1 Hour! Unless it's an Online Race!!!👍Jows73no way I am doing a 24hr endurance race, even if it is over the course of 4/5 days or whatever. I will probably do about 5 hours max and let B- Spec do the rest.
👍
ApclpsHi guys,
First of all, the search option in the GT4 forum doesn't work right now so I don't know how many times this has been talked about..
What is up with the price difference between the US version and the PAL version? I just noticed it when I was looking at the US release date article. The US version is quoted at $49.9 while the PAL version (atleast the one we are getting) will cost a whopping $87.5 (= converted from to $ with current rates).
I for one was totally prepared to shell out the cash to buy GT4 and probably wouldn't have cared about the high price at all, if only I didn't know about the U$ pice. Don't think this is a fair move!
