Hey, amar212. Tnx for updates and info on A-spec 2 B-spec change. When possible, try to change also from B-spec 2 A-spec, or have you tried that too and it works? I just didn't see that in your updates. Tnx again!

EDIT: I took another look at the images in 1st post and since I see that option is included in Pit-Stop menu, I believe it is probobly possible, since you have to change tyres and refuel also in B-Spec. Just seeking definite confirmation.

A to B-Spec update now avaliable in the first thread.

Q&A:

- Yes, you can change the A2B-Spec and vice versa, no problem.

- save file is still 1,5 MB

- when "Auto-save" is OFF, the game saves on every car change or when buying or selling car (have to chck for other segments though)

- I just can't explain Course Registration screen because I do not understand it at all:) Main reason: it says something like "for managing the courses in LAN- 2P races". Catch 22 is: I have El Capitan listed as "2P ON" in 2P column, but the course is not availbale in 2P - which leads me to believe that Corse Registration is strictly for adding/removing corses for LAN races

And in additon to Arcade mode - I do not like the fact that game does not "remeber" your last "Choose" position as in all previous games, so you have to scroll for every pick (track or car) for the beggining every time. Not a big one, but it counts.

Hey, maybe in course registration you pick a few tracks to create your own race series in 2P and LAN mode, so you don't have to re-start every race. You know, like those 3-10 race series there are in GT Mode. Just a thought ...

or it is to registrate courses, that one player doesn't have unlocked yet, or something ...

Thank you for all the great info amar. I would like to know, is it possible to drive the garaged cars in single player as well?

That sounds very sweet. Can't wait to create custom mini-tournaments with friends over Xlink/LAN!

Thats good news bout changing from A-Spec to B-Spec and for once i am glad the PAL version is later if we get better graphics and physics! In your face!!!! :sly: The last GT game PAL versions did not have as many Formual 1 cars and didnt have the Diablo, now it seems we will have the better game!

All i want to next is, can you save mid race during endurance races!

Great news with the a-spec - b-spec back and forth possibility! Thanks alot Amar!
Save in mid race would probably be handy too but it doesn't look like we'll get it. :indiff: Doesn't matter that much to me either way. I guess I wouldn't want to drive the same track for 24 h no matter how many sessions I can devide it up into. In my opinion it merely adds to what I would call realism that you let "other drivers" take over now and then in endurances.. Oh well.. I know there are people who are VERY opinionated about this so I guess I should point out, again, that this is MY PERSONAL take on it.. :)

Thanks again! Keep it up! 👍

Cheers!

When in B-Spec mode in Enduro, can you call in a pit stop to change back to A-Spec mode or do you have to wait before the computer will pit ??

From what i have seen, in B-Spec you control the AI car, so you tell it when to pit! So you can it to pit whenever you want and then take over. I realy cant imagine doing the 24 hour races without being able to save. Even when in b-spec when you can times the speed by 8 it still takes 8 hours which is still a logn time at once for me!

I just saw the 2k6 Eclipse and it looks simply awsome. It has features similar to the original GOdzilla. I Was wondering if it was still FF, or Awd? it looks like a great car. :) 1st suprize of gt4 for me.

fraid not as far as asian version goes,

if left alone, the computer will pit, change tires, and refuel itself, whenever the tires turn orange.

good? its just too good, like cheating good. for simply tapping the circle button 12 times to start four 100k enduros, you could rack up 160,000,000 credits with the ADVAN 350z GT. all whilist you cook, do laundry, or go to work. I hope this cheapness is removed in future versions.

Its like being tempted by the devil, eating handfuls of cookie dough, having liberties with your...nevermind.

Sorry, but I think that website is wrong. The Eclipse is keeping it's front wheel drive layout. It's sad really, the Eclipse could be a great entry level performance car if they could just get the drive wheels right.

I think the eclipse looks alot better in GT4 than in real life. It seems they just get fuglier and fuglier.

The more square-ishness on the car make it look loads better. Not to mention it looks more "sleek" in game.

I know what you mean. Sometimes I feel as if these car makers just havent got a clue about what we want. If only they were to hire people like me and you because frankly all cars that ahave over 120bhp and are not little hot hatches should have rear wheel drive like BMWs. Even mercedes are going rear wheel drive across its whole range and Audi is doing frantic research and work to make its quattro model be able to keep up with the likes of BMW.

..and don't forget the Jaguars! (well except for that Ford abomination X-type) :)
I really can't stand front wheel drive, in the GT series or in real life.. Rear wheel drive is the only way to go! 👍

Cheers!

umm....Mercedes is not 'going rear wheel', they have been rear wheel drive for a long time (at least 15 for sure). They don't make any FF cars except the A Class.

Everything is FR or 4-Matic (their version of 4WD)

C-Class is FWD!!!!. And isnt the C-class their 2nd highest selling car next to the A-Class. Ofcourse I know that there is a RWD version of the c-class in the shape of the AMG. But as it goes the C-class is FWD and therefore doesnt handle aswell as the BMW.

I said maybe. I was guessing ;). Read the whole post :). Just offering a possible explanation.

Mercedes is RWD for quite a while now (in general), the A class is FF ... :). And Audi is not doing frantic research to make quattro keep up with BMW (where do you get those thoughts :) ). Quattro itself (as a normal 4WD option) is better than just RWD drive option (very common in BMW). You have 4 wheels that get power which means more grip in all conditions, car handles easier for a normal daily driver in critical situations and is much better. It's probobly not as fun as RWD (drifting :D), but is better. Just wanted to say that. I'm sorry for off-topic discussion.

And I believe someone asked info about pitting. I believe you can order AI driver when to pit in B-spec mode. If you don't he will pit when he runs out of fuel on track on very next lap.

EDIT: C-class is RWD. You got your data mixed up a bit ;).

no.....the C-Class is also RWD. All Mercedes are. Trust me, I work for a MB dealer and have been driving these cars for over 8 years now. ALL OF THEM are rwd except the 4-Matics.

maybe its different world-wide (pretty sure its not), but here in the USA, they are RWD

Double_R: Everybody makes mistakes. But it takes a great man, to admit them ;). I think 2 chase views. There is a video of camera angles somewhere ...

@Hajaz: I think it's been said, that the garage can be used in LAN mode.
