I have the same one as your and it's works right away for me.

I've just tried it again, no go, I've tried it in both USB ports on the PS2, checked it's formatted to FAT 32 and everything, but not a thing, save gets 1/3 of the way in and says the USB... then Japanese. The green light on the USB stick stays on solid all this time, then when I quit the save it flickers a bit and goes off?

The only thing I can think of is that there is a fault with my USB ports on the PS2 because the memory stick is working fine on my PC.

My system is a PSTwo and that same thing happens with mine.

I have a question that may tick all of you guys o

I am using the Scandick Cruzer Mini. I saved my pictures from gt4 onto there but cannot find a way to upload it on my computer and then to get them on the internet? So if anyone could help me that would be great.

.. copy them off the flash drive to some folder somewhere and then use the imageshack thing under "Go Advanced" to host them online.

If you're running XP just plug it in and copy/paste your way through.

If not you have to install drivers for it from sandisk's website. And then copy/paste your way through.

Hey guys .. the iRiver iHP-120 worked perfectly .. :)

The original file size was only 159 kb though .. is that normal ? It looked like people were saying it should be 250-300 for usb and 100 on the memory card.

i've tried the following:

nikon coolpix 5400 : works!

creative nomad jukebox 3 : does not work

sony psp : does not work....i'm hoping some type of software/file can fool the psp to make it work.

File sizes will vary due to jpg compression.

ok,
i know there's another thread about this, but i've seen the question asked many times in the last few hours, so here's what I know works. If someone else has tried something, post it up and i will make this list larger as it goes:

Confirmed working hardware:
- Creative MuVo MP3 player
- Kingston Data Traveller USB Pen Drive
- Sony Pocket Bit USB memory
- Sony Micro Vault
- SanDisk Cruzer Micro USB Flash Drive
- Media Gear 7-in-1 USB 2.0 memory card reader w/ PQI 256mb Hi-Speed Compact Flash

Unconfirmed working hardware:

Incompatible hardware:
- SanDisk Cruzer Mini USB Flash Drive
- Datel Max Drive USB Memory Device
- Sony Mouse with Memory Stick Reader/Writer MSAC-US5

Additional info:
Photos saved to Sony Memory Card is compressed down to approximately 100kb, resulting in minor artifacting when displayed on a computer monitor. Photos saved to USB storage is approximately 250-300kb.

Ok the unconfirmed part abou the sandisk cruzer mini is not true, someone please check out the others that are said not to be compatible, i purchased both the micro and the mini, they both work excellent..........

Not sure if anyone is keeping up a list, but I have a SimpleTech USB2.0 256MB "Flash Drive", and it works perfectly.

THE San Cruzer Mini does work...................mine does i have the 256mb one($50..it had better worked)

How did you get yours to work, I and several others with the Sandisk Cruzer Mini 256 have not... Exactly what procedure did you use when formatting, any special options, did you format from the command prompt, disk management, etc... I have an un-modded SCPH-35001 model PS2 and my Cruzer Mini is model SDCZ2-256, my GT4 is the US version... Anyone who has got the SDC Mini 256 to work please detail how and under what circumstances.

General question:
can you transfer photomode pics to any USB flash memory.
i need to buy something for that.
The ones you mentioned that work in another thread, well most of them are not availlible in Croatia or they cost a little fortune. :indiff:  :scared:

I know there has been some talk of iPods, some confirming their working and others not.

Just wanted to add my confirmation that my 3G 20GB iPod, set to Enable Disk Mode, DOES work.

Can others who use other devices give me an estimate of how long it takes to save an image to the drive? With my iPod, an image took about 35-45 seconds... something like that. Is that similar to other devices? It seems too long to me, and if it is longer than the "norm" I may go and buy one of the other confirmed, dedicated, USB drives.
